About Me:

I was recruited to come to Portland in 1997 by Surgical Associates to become an all-around General Surgeon. I initially began my career doing all sorts of surgery ranging from vascular reconstructions, to breast, to head and neck, to colorectal. I returned to Portland following and joined the oldest Colorectal surgical group in Portland working closely with other surgeons also highly trained and focused on only Colon/Rectal Surgery. My training and education as well as subsequent experience proved to be extremely beneficial and rewarding. . In 2010, I was recruited to lead Legacy Health's Colon/Rectal Surgery program, with special interest in developing a program for screening, prevention and treatment of colorectal cancer. My current practice is focused principally on colorectal surgery, but also includes surgery of the abdomen in general. I also treat all types of anorectal complaints including hemorrhoids, and what is traditionally regarded as Proctology.

Year I Started Practice: 1997
Hospitals Served: Legacy Emanuel Medical Center, Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center, Legacy Mount Hood Medical Center
