Quality can and should be measured.

One way to measure quality is by looking at how well patients do after treatment. 

Unadjusted 5-year non-small cell lung cancer survival rates - Stage 1 cancer

Overall 5-year survival rate for non-small cell lung cancer - diagnosed at stage 1. Legacy: 48.4%; accredited programs nationwide: 46.8%
