As the medical director of Legacy Medical Group - Women's Specialties, Megan Bird, M.D. is a board certified gynecologist who has special interests in hormone therapy, menopause management, family planning, vulvar disease and transgender care. She is also co-medical director of Legacy Transgender Services, along with Karin Selva, M.D. Dr. Bird serves as medical director of Legacy Transgender Adult and Surgical Services. She is a native Oregonian and has been practicing medicine in the Portland-metro region for seven years. Hobbies include: Hiking, Cooking, Reading

Dr. Bird and the nurse made sure I was as comfortable as I could be during my visit and were very patient when inconveniences occurred. They were both pleasant to be around.

This was my first time with Dr. Bird, but she was so professional, open and kind. Excellent bedside manner and explained what she thought we should do and not do for me.

I am so thankful for this office and my surgeon, my care was perfect and I was really listened to. I've been with them since I was 14 and have never had a bad experience, I hope it stays that way because I couldn't imagine going anywhere else.

Excellent doctor. She addressed all my concerns, validated my feelings and jumped right on trying to figure out what was wrong. She was kind and considerate and made me feel very safe. She was also incredibly thorough about procedures she would perform and made sure I felt comfortable the entire time. I felt greatly cared for!
