A garden can have healing powers
Health care research has shown that patients with access to a garden, or even a garden view, have fewer complications, require less pain medication and are discharged more quickly from the hospital. Our healing gardens provide a therapeutic oasis for healing the body and spirit of all who visit our hospital sites. We are proud of Legacy's award-winning Horticultural Therapy program, providing spaces of sanctuary where patients, visitors and staff can benefit from the healing powers of nature. Gifts to our healing gardens directly help with maintenance and upkeep. Your brick or tile on a garden wall will leave a lasting impression for years to come.
