 Firearm Risk Assessment, Counseling, and Injury Prevention (28 minutes)

Firearm violence and suicide are highly prevalent and impact patients, families, and communities. These tragedies may also be preventable. Clinicians can learn ways to identify patients at risk for firearm-related harm, as well as skills to engage patients in a respectful and empathic manner which shows regard for their autonomy and rights.

 Cognitive Screening in Primary Care (19 minutes)

One in nine patients over the age of 45 worries about memory loss, and up to 25% of patients over the age of 65 have mild cognitive impairment. Cognitive screening helps to identify which patients have these pathologic changes.
