Gifts of toys and other items
In keeping with our family-centered focus, Randall Children's Hospital at Legacy Emanuel aims to keep children comfortable and relaxed while they are patients in the hospital. Kids who are hospitalized receive toys, books or craft projects and are encouraged to participate in other activities to lift their spirits. We need a lot of toys! Donations are always welcome to help replenish our stock.

Toy donation guidelines
For the health and safety of our patients, all donations must be brand new and in the original packaging and/or with original tags attached. Gently used items, including stuffed animals and books, will not be accepted. Guidelines are as follows:
- Donations are for children up to age 18
- Donations should not have been held in storage for longer than one year, even if they have been stored in plastic containers and/or original packaging
- We cannot accept donations of crocheted or knitted blankets or hats
- Please do not wrap donations or combine donations to create gift bags
- We will not accept holiday or religious themed donations at any time
- We will not accept toy weapons of any kind, including Nerf or Nerf-like guns

Donation drop-off
- For your convenience, a large donation bin is located at the outside entrance to Randall Children’s Hospital
- Donations can also be dropped off directly inside the main lobby on the flatbed carts across from the security desk
- If your donation is larger than one car load, please contact the Child Life Team prior to bringing your donation
- A receipt of your donation can be provided for tax purposes
