About Me:

Plastic and reconstructive surgery is a marriage between form and function. My goal is to restore my patients self-confidence, whether through cosmetic or reconstructive procedures, so that my patients can look, feel, and function at their best. I take pride in providing comprehensive plastic and reconstructive surgery care in a safe and compassionate manner. My areas of expertise range from gender affirming procedures to breast and pelvic reconstruction. I feel highly privileged and find satisfaction in being able to help my patients during such an important time in their lives. I also have specific interests in facial rejuvenation, aesthetic surgery of the breast, and cosmetic and functional procedures after massive weight loss. I my free time, I enjoy skiing, hiking with my family, and cooking.

All of the lovely people at this location went above and beyond in assuring I was comfortable and taken care of. They helped in scheduling post op appointments, something that is vital in insuring I healed properly after surgery. They were respectful, communicative, and efficient while also creating a friendly space. I was seen on time, every time, and walked through each aspect of my care and what it meant for me and my healing process. 100/10!

I love everyone I have gotten to work with through Legacy. Dr. Thakar and all others who have worked with me before, during, and after top surgery have eased my anxiety, listened to me, kept me informed, and made me feel cared for. They really were the makers of a make-or-break situation, since medical stuff can be a severe source of stress for me. I can't recommend them enough.

Dr. Thakar performed surgery on me. She saved my life. She's awesome, and I'm grateful that she's a gifted surgeon. These are routine post-op visits, and they are always positive.

The only downside to seeing Dr. Thakar is the long waiting time to get an appointment. That makes sense though considering most surgeons who provide trans related care also have long waiting periods. Dr. Thakar has extremely good bedside manner, checked in with me during the appointment to see if I was in pain or needed anything, and her team is excellent at communicating.

My provider was very thorough and informative. They were also sensitive to my needs and situation. The reception staff was super friendly and pleasant to interact with. I had an amazing experience and I'm going to recommend this doctor to my friends in need of this service.

Dr. Thakar and her staff is always so kind and welcoming. I drive in to see her from another state and have never regretted my decision to choose her and the clinic to provide my care

This is one of my surgeons for a Very long and intricate surgery. She made me feel very comfortable and at ease. She explained the whole process in words that I could understand.

Everyone was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond through my entire process especially when I had a seizure at my first check up appointment they went out of their way to help get me a wheel chair so I could return to my mothers car safely and stayed with me to be sure I didn't fall and get hurt amazing and caring staff

Dr. Thakar and everyone of staff are wonderful. Quick to comminucate and resdy to answer questions. Reception very courteous, welcoming, and professional. The atmosphere in the clinic is welcoming and calming.

My only wish is that I could ask a few more questions, which I intend to do over MyHealth instead. All in all, it was a lovely visit and very informative. Would recommend.
