About Me:

Dr. Tom Warrington emphasizes shared decision-making and patient education in his practice. He believes it's important that his patients understand and engage in their own health and their health care decisions. "Health is built and maintained by the individual," he says. "My job is to provide the tools and understanding for patients to be healthy." Dr. Warrington enjoys caring for patients and developing long-lasting relationships with them. After earning his medical degree from Mayo Medical School in Rochester, Minnesota, he completed his internship and residency at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland. Originally from Minnesota, Dr. Warrington is married and has three children. Dr Warrington is accepting patients internal to LMG Northwest at this time.

Dr. Warrington makes you feel like you are the most important person in his day. He is thorough with my care. And really listens to what is going on and provides options. He is the best!

NP, was excellent in every way: professional, well-informed, courteous, and really got the job done! Dr. Warrington provided one of the most thorough, comprehensive and well-informed medical checkups that I have ever received. He also listened intently to my own concerns and responded thoughtfully. With a touch of humor here and there, he made the visit informative, practical and with care! I really appreciated his thoroughness and regard. Excellent!

I have only seen Dr. Warrington twice since he became my primary physician. Both times he has been thorough, engaged, attentive and compassionate. I have had the good fortune of many wonderful doctors at this practice...I feel quite fortunate!

We talked about my sleep issues and Dr. Warrington had some good suggestions. He had read my chart in advance and thought about it. The only thing that he didn't do (which might be a judgment call) was check my posture and steadiness of gait. I think that's more imprortant at my age. Overall he was emphatetic and engaging in conversations about subjects like prostate blood tests - which I was not aware of. It was a very good visit.

Since I had recently lost two PCPs, I was a bit apprehensive but Dr. Warrington assured me he'll be around for quite awhile. He is very caring, very knowledgeable, and good at explaining what's going on with the body so a layperson can understand.

Dr. Warrington was very helpful and answered questions about various medicines I attacking. I like his ability to communicate about the medicines I am taking and their doses in an easy to understand conversation. I think is great.

Dr Warrington is new to the practice and is, therefore, new to me. I am very impressed and believe I am fortunate to have been assigned to this physician. He is knowledgeable and able to answer all questions. He will intersperse humor, as appropriate, and make the appointment seem lighter. I am a retired RN and Dr Warrington seems to respect what knowledge I have as a nurse. I appreciate that he listens to me and gives me more information as needed. I look forward to having Dr Warrington be my physician in the future.

Hopeful, kind & Thorough: Encouraged & thankful to have Dr. Warrington as my new PCP. Sorry I got cut from Dr.Garcia's care but understand that it was needed for the functioning of the clinic. As an older person with serious illnesses & 30 plus yrs at the clinic. Receiving a message on My heath electronically was difficult instead of a thoughtful letter in the mail. I think receiving a letter in the mail would have been helpful & better wording of reassurance that it wasn't a personal rejection. I'm thankful my husband did not get dropped & continues to have Dr. Garcia as his PCP. Change is hard & healthcare is especially difficult in these times. Suggestion for future: For major changes:: consider sending letter in the mail rather than electronic message; list names & bio of doctors accepting patients, & If needing medical care options for help. Grateful to the staff & now having a PCP again.
