To our Mount Hood community,

Our update is brief today, as we continue to be on track for a mid-June target timeframe to welcome patients back to the Legacy Mount Hood Family Birth Center.

Our timeline to welcome patients to the Family Birth Center is dependent on four key factors:

• We need to establish a care plan that will meet or exceed the minimum service levels outlined in state regulations.
  
• The other three drivers are tied to staffing for physicians, nurses, and anesthesiologists.

On Friday, May 12, we submitted our action plan to the Oregon Health Authority and the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services. We will provide more updates soon.
