To our Mount Hood community,

At Legacy Health, our mission is good health for our people, our patients, our communities and our world. With everything that has happened in the last three months at Legacy Mount Hood Medical Center, I wanted to connect with all of you — our patients, community partners and elected leaders — to confirm our commitment to East County. We will continue to provide safe, quality care for our community, and we are excited about the vibrant future ahead of us in East County.

On behalf of the Legacy Health leadership team, we want to apologize for the stress, confusion, and disruption caused by the situation at our Mount Hood Family Birth Center. We understand the impact it has had on our employees, providers, and most importantly, our patients. Now, it is our goal to rebuild trust as we move forward together.

We recognize the Family Birth Center’s essential role in our community and welcoming patients is our top priority. Our teams are now working diligently toward the goal of welcoming patients by July.

We want to express our deep gratitude to our employees and doctors for their resilience and dedication. We are confident that together, we will overcome this challenge and continue to thrive as a team.

A nuestra comunidad de Mount Hood:

En Legacy Health, nuestra misión es una buena salud para nuestra gente, nuestros pacientes, nuestras comunidades y nuestro mundo. Con todo lo que ha pasado en los últimos tres meses en Legacy Mount Hood Medical Center, quería comunicarme con todos ustedes, nuestros pacientes, socios comunitarios y directivos electos, para confirmar nuestro compromiso con el Condado del Este.
