Before I met Dr. Lewis, she impressed me in a phone followup about my blood pressure. I believe her good judgment in increasing the dose of my new BP medicine saved my life. For this I am most grateful. I was also impressed that she understood that taking my BP at home was stressful and did not suggest continuing the practice. She advised me to follow up after taking the new dose, and I decided I wanted her to be my cardiologist. (I feel I need a cardiologist because of my family history.) She wrote a warm note after the call, advising me to "work hard to walk every day." I greatly increased my walks out of respect for her; she was a powerful motivator. During the office visit I was very much impressed with her again. She said my anxiety stood out to her and she recommended ways of contending with it. That was a sign of her exceptional caring. She is a person of few words and I value every one of them. She has a special kind of warmth and It Is Immensely comforting to know I have found the right physician for me.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sandra Lewis for many years . She has always been kind, courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and caring to me and my family on every visit.She is by far my favorite provider and I cannot speak highly enough about her!

I was most impressed by Dr. Lafi's knowledge and calm and friendly demeanor. I was referred by my primary care who got a weird result on an ekg. Turns out they probably did it incorrectly. Dr. Lafi did a follow up in her office and it was perfect. Very reassuring. Dr. Lafi took the time to listen and explain thoroughly. You don't find that kind of extraordinary care too often anymore in the Healthcare systems.

This was my first visit with Dr Rosenthal and he's very attentive, knowledgeable, and positive.

Dr MaCanulty is a treasure.

All was good except finding out Dr McAnulty is retiring. Hoping the doctor he is sending me to knows how to treat autonomic disorders, the previous Legacy cardiologists I saw were nice but they didn't know a lot about autonomic disorders or how to treat them.

Dr. Rosenthal was a breath of fresh air compared yo another doctor I had seen previously about my health. He listened carefully, explained my condition clearly and created a good plan for me. I am very happy to have him as my doctor.

Simply put..(1) I felt misunderstood on what I was trying to say and/or ask, (2) he flatly refused to give his medical opinion which I was there for, and (3) he wanted me to make a decision at that appointment which I wasn't ready to make as I was still trying to process the risks since he would not give his opinion so I felt like I had to research for myself, and (4) he changed my diagnosis which I did not realize would impact my ability to get a second opinion and/or treatment in the future. I am in the process of writing a letter to Dr Abbott to request my diagnosis to be changed back to paroxysmal Afib.

As a true specialist I'm not sure the opportunity might arise but if it did I certainly would.

The visit with Dr. McAnulty was excellent as always. He is as caring and knowledgable practitioner as it is possible to be. The only bad experience related to this visit is finding out that he is retiring.

Dr. Mehta and medical staff support were brilliant. I would not change a thing! My only issue is with the office staff. I would rarely receive a call back when I had questions or paperwork needed. I physically drove myself to the office in Portland no less than 5 times to get help from clerical staff. Response time was very poor. Once there in person everyone was kind and helpful.

The MD wanted me to schedule a follow up appt at 90 days. The scheduler would not let me on 04/11 because the "schedule was not released." I called back today (06/06) to schedule for July and the schedule STILL "has not been released." How can this possible work? It's not possible to schedule a follow up appt. And I was on hold for 20 minutes.

This medical team is very professional, and and truly interested in a persons health, and well being.

Dr Lewis has been my cardiologist for more than 30 years. I couldn't ask for better care. One of the primary reasons I'm alive today is because of the medical care and direction she's given me.

Dr. Camara was up to date on all my medications and health challenges I have had in the past year. She was definitely prepared when she came into the exam room.

My visit with Dr. McAnulty was fine. I do however have issues with the management of Good Sam. Losing too many providers to othe hospitals, inability to pay co pay at time of visit though it is clearly stated on my insurance card, reorganization of the cafeteria leading to declining quality and service.

Dr. McAnulty is a very good doctor, even more, he is a great human being.

When I needed to change the appointment, I was able to talk with a real person very quickly, and was able to see the doctor almost 2 weeks earlier.

Doctor McAnullty with each visit has been very respectful, caring, showing compassion, sensitive, understanding for my health, what I am going thru. Offering encouragement, sound medical input. With the world running amuck its reassuring to have values expressed in honoring ways.

This was an in-take & 1st visit w/ Dr. Isenbarger. The process of finally finding my way to this physician/ clinic and to recieve a diagnosis I feel confident about has taken me 8 years of navigating the health care system via other clinics, doctors, two halter monitors w/ other docs, a variety of diagnoses, and finally BINGO! I am very grateful to have reached the doc at The Portland Clinic who made this referral & to have landed w/ your group. Many thanks! It has since taken taken 3 weeks (and repeated calls) to get scheduled for f/up of Dr. Isenbarger's referral to Electrophysiology, and an alternate MD than his suggestion. And I'll be seen (a week from tomorrow) @ 4 wks out from his original referral. Still, I'm thankful!

It takes to long to get an appointment.

Major ongoing problems dealing with getting an appointment for a CT chest scan Dr. Narichania ordered. A lot of it has to do with Imaging not being able to contact his office. When I call, most of the time, they don't answer and will call back. That takes a very long time. Dr. N's office told me yesterday when I was there that the revised order had been sent. This morning Imaging told me again there was still a problem and they will call me back. That was 3 hours ago. This has been going on for 3 days.

Dr McAnulty is an exceptional provider. Very respectful, intelligent and thoughtful. Carefully guides the health issues for best care and ability to assess warning signs.

He explained quite well my condition and concerns and made the excellent statement that "sometimes less is better" when he suggested I reduce my medication to as needed only.

Almost qtime I call the office I have to leave a message and wait for them to call back. Trying to shedule the echo was the same..if you are so busy you should hire more staff. I usually see cardiology 1x yr..if I had ongoing problems trying to contact the office would be a BIG drawback. This survey is not too great either.

My only hesitation was in the physician's recommendation of a specific intervention but his inability to give me even a ballpark idea of the cost. He did give me a brochure that somewhat explained the tool he was recommending but indicated that I would have to f/u with my own insurance to learn about charges. I would have appreciated a referral to someone within your system who could have helped me walk through the process

Dr. Superman is attentive, thorough and kind. I have a newly diagnosed heart condition but I feel I am in good hands for managing it with his guidance. Dr. Borden was my primary doctor and I feel insecure going forward without a replacement. I feel that a better plan for his patients would have been to interview and hire a replacement doc BEFORE he stopped seeing patients. The gap in service has been problematic and troublesome for me. I'm disappointed in Legacy Medical currently.

Best provider I ever had!!

The visit itself was perfectly normal and expected. Getting scheduled to see a cardiologist at all was the difficult part; I called in month after month last year (2023) trying to get scheduled with any cardiologist and was always told all appointments were taken. Finally after over 9 months calling, I was called back to schedule an appointment that was 10 months after my initial reach out to the cardiology department.

Provider listened carefully, took copious notes, provided clear guidance, respected my decisions

Received phone calls about need to schedule an appointment on at least two occasions. Called for an appointment after receiving these calls afterward and on two other occasions in between calls only to be told that physician had NOT released his schedule of availability, so no appointment could be made. Please don't send me a reminder call to schedule unless the system is actually ready for me to make an appointment.

Always 100 percent the best. Great doctor and staff.

Both cardiology doctors, p a;s, nurses and office staff have been friendly during visits and very responsive to my questions be they phone or myhealth.

Dr. Wu has been treating me for several years. He is very in tune with my health history and what nee things might elevate my health. He is understanding of the fear associated with my situation and is always very supportive and caring while giving me updates and information around my chronic illness.

The more we talked with the doctor the more confident we felt in his care. KISS. Keep it simple etc. Explanations for my wife, daughter, add me. No 50 cent words trying to impress us. But he was blunt. Did not candy coat serious problems. Our visit rates an eleven. But the survey only went up to ten

I felt genuinely listened to and heard. Doctor was empathetic, professional, knowledgeable and patient in guiding me and following up on all messages and tests. My confidence is restored knowing he is with me.

So far, I have been quite pleased with Dr Camara's expertise , kindness and thoroughness. I am not rushed in appointments, feel professionally taken care of , and feel as though she is a partner in my health and wellness. This is all so very reassuring .

All my visits to Dr David Boo's office have been good

THIS was my first encounter with this doctor and I left with a very good impression of him. I really hope that he will continue given the same service as the years go by and he is still there. He is good. He was very present, a good listener gave me the information needed even though it was 3 months later when I needed this appointment. Some doctors I have seen at Legacy get in the room already stressed out and in a hurry to get out without and not really listening to you at all, but in the computer typing what we are saying instead of looking and listening us. I find it very rude and extremely uncomfortable, like we don't matter. (like - say what you came here to say and let me get out)

I have to drive 2 hours through awful traffic when zi'm only 19 miles away. Need more docs in Vsncouver WA. Portland is a fabgerous olace to be. Even this Ggod Samaritan Hispital had a shootong recently. Portland's the armpit of the nation! Get some qualified specialists like Dr. Abbott in WA's Vancouver reguin, okease.

Dr McAnulty has been my cardiologist for sixteen years. I followed him from OHSU to Legacy. I have referred all the members of my extended family with concerns appropriate to his area of practice. He is a remarkably able physician and an extraordinary human being. I am deeply grateful for the care he has provided to me and hope to remain his patient for the remainder of my life.

Dr Lewis as always was attentive and focused on my health issues. The medical assistant who took my vital signs and assisted me in getting ready for Dr Lewis was one of the best I've ever experienced. To the point that I suggested that she either slow down or ask for more money. Her warmth as well as her efficiency and concern for my visit we're clear throughout our interaction. I hope I get her again next year.

Dr knew all my many complicated issues and was very prepared for visit. Only issue is the process of contacting your office. No one explained what was reason for so many things. I am getting older and forgetful. I need to call for an appt and hang up the phone with a date & time. All the stuff like calling back on certain day is just too much.

Dr. Rosenthal is an extremely competent Dr. because I have been a patient so long, and we have established a friendship, sometimes he does not ask probing questions because I appear to be in good shape for an 85-year-old. I should try to remember to ask him the questions.

Dr Lewis is always concerned about my overall health, always attentive and engaged, and I am much healthier since seeing her than before she became my cardiologist. I hope she doesn't retire before I die!

John McAnulty is arguably one of the best doctors in the entire Legacy system, a doctor renowned for his medical knowledge and his human compassion. He's a great doctor and a wonderful person.Making an appointment with the Legacy cardiology group is a nightmare. Made repeated calls which were never answered directly, left repeated messages, which almost always were not returned. Something is broken within the phone answering system of this group.

Canceled a previous appointment less than 30 minutes before it was scheduled. Was less than one block away when call came to me.

Doctor is very thorough when he explains all phases of my treatment and procedures that he wants me to go through breaking down the medication that he wants me to take and how they will affect me. He doesn't rush me and he answers every question that I asked him and seems very concerned about my health.

No complaints or issues with Dr. Lewis or any of her staff. However, the parking situation is inadequate but I don't know what if anything can be done about it. I arrived at the facility 15 minutes before my appointment time of 2:00 p.m and was still about 5 minutes late. The green light "open" sign was on yet there was not a single open space in the entire parking structure. I eventually was able to park in the lot of the M.O.B. Also, the electronic scanning system of getting in AND out of both parking structures is troublesome for a lot of people. I have witnessed this on many occasions.

Excellent visit. Responsive support team and Dr. Lewis was very reassuring and informative.
