He truly cares about his patients as whole people (mind, body, spirit) rather than a single issue or surgery. I genuinely feel as though he cares more about me as a person than me as a patient, which is so rare to find these days. James is extremely knowledgeable, explains everything, asks if I have questions, lets me play an active role in my care, and always goes above and beyond.

Overall this was a very satisfactory visit. The doctor is very professional and responds very effectively to any questions or concerns that I may have.

I just moved here last weekend and I went to the emergency room for help. They were extremely helpful and the decision to wait for a specialist on Monday was totally exceptional.

Waited 45 minutes before Dr. McCarthy came into room ... Probably shouldn't schedule him for surgery on the same day of office visits.He was very kind & grateful that we stayed & waited. We were about to leave, though his kindness & concern made up for being so late.
