BEYOND PERFECT!
Claire is extremely encouraging, a forward thinker who cares deeply about her patients. I've seen Claire from the very beginning of my weight loss journey to present and she's so consistent and easy to get along with.
Dr. Meyer listened to me and explained my health issues. He's a great doctor but he goes further, He is kind and he clearly takes an interest in the patient's health wise and also my personal life,. Dr. Myers Is very smart and knows his stuff. Thank you for your kindness and general Interest In my life..a great blend of do doctor and friend.
At the moment in the process of surgery for the past I have been treated super well
She was friendly and professional. Seemed to genuinely care about me and my needs.
Lisa Bailey is empathetic, encouraging, whip smart, patient and guides me to make decisions on my own that I am proud of. She and my care team are exceptional.
Dr. Meyer is FANTASTIC
I love the way I was treated!
Everybody there is so nice and respectful. They explain everything so I can understand what is going to happen.
Always wonderful I appreciate that so much
It was an experience. I got some helpful advice and it was a fun date.
Very good services.
Excellent explanations on surgery options.
Claire was fantastic! She was knowledgeable, helpful, kind, and easy to communicate with.
Always a great visit with the dr
Very through.
The only bad experiences is with receptions answering the phone,or not returning messages. My yearly check up post Gastric bypass was 18 months before they called.
Stelllar surgeon best describes Dr Halpin.
Claire Hanaway is a great provider, always listens to my thought and concerns. Every easy to talk to about any issues I nay be having. Very compassionate, and knowledgeable. 10/10 recommend her!!
Dr Halpin is amazing. Her MA was also great!
Had a great visit
Always helpful and friendly staff and providers. Front office could be friendlier and more warm, but it's not critical. Scheduling staff are amazing! I always feel well respected and well taken care of here.
All good experiences. No cpmplaints
Everyone is really caring
My provider is excellent. I only see her on an annual basis, but she is available if I need to visit her earlier. I always look forward to our appointments as she is warm and caring and provides insightful recommendations.
I live more than a hour away from this Doctors office. My appointment including registration time , time with the nurse AND time with the Surgeon took less than 15 minutes. That's a lot of driving for only a 15 minute appointment. Very frustrating
Ms. Hanway continued the discussion from the prior appointment and strived to find commonality with me in order to facilitate the medical care process. Strong communication skills
I cannot say enough about what an excellent NP and overall human being Claire Hanway is. She listens to me, she responds in a very timely manner to my questions, and she's warm and caring. She finds creative solutions to problems. My health is very good now because of Claire and also Legacy Obesity and Diabetes Institute.
Dr. Meyer and his nurse Cindy are the best of the best the respect they show one another raises their game in my view. The whole staff was great I was welcomed with total care and respect. Dr. Meyer's personality is very uplifting my wife and I walked of his office saying can you believe this guy he's got it together his professionalism is off the charts. Thanks for asking.
So helpful, I was embarrassed and struggling and everyone was so kind, reassuring and helpful
Excellent care. Everyone I encountered was very professional and courteous
Todo bien
She cares about my problems. Discussed options.
Everyone was great, thank you so much. Really wish you would ask me about my stay in the hospital after my surgery though! (Nothing to do with this doctor or this office, to be clear.)
Dr Travis listens actively and makes sure that you are part of the conversation. Great surgeon and great professional and bedside manners
The African-American Lady who is at the front desk was so rude to me and she has done this twice to me.She never smiled she is not friendly she is just so rude!!I really don't like being treated rudely from her. This has to stop and please talk to her being more respectful.
I love the Staff at Weight Management Program. Very kind and supportive at all times. They're My Family :-)
Always super friendly staff. Thank you!
I was very happy with this experience overall! The staff at checking in, making sure on my insurance, waiting to speak with the doctor, and then the whole experience with the doctor was just wonderful!!
Everyone is friendly and respect to others .
Doctor is poor ar follow up and knowing anything about after care complications. Passes that to the patient to ask other doctors instead . Dis not schedule enough time w me based in the severity of my situation. Not able to address any of the implications that resulted from complex and emergency surgeries that resulted from their care.
Everyone is very nice it's just impossible to get scheduled for procedures
I enjoy coming to this office. Everyone is so helpful & caring.
It was very organized, they explained to me well all the risks of the barriatic surgery
The lady that scheduled color up appointments is consistently rude. Never nice or approachable. She made my preop appts without asking me my schedule, so when I asked to change them due to my work schedule, she was extremely rude. Unprofessional
Only one issue I am having and it is with Providence formulary I have chronic deficiencies and it's medically necessary for me to take multivitamins of all sorts it's a long list so I won't get into it I am having difficulty with the pharmacist understanding why they cannot get them covered under my Medicare Medicaid I am a new patient I am coming in from Kaiser where Medicaid covered all or most of all of my over-the-counter supplements due to my deficiencies and it is confusing for me and I am working with a nurse service coordinator Tamara but even she is not quite sure how to explain to Providence formulary how to pay for my over-the-counter medically necessary supplements that would be quite expensive on my limited income it has been frustrating and I am running out of them very quickly yes I do get provided the OTC card but I also need a very expensive protein and MCT oil to fill in which is provided through Amazon the OTC card does not allow me to purchase it through Amazon since covid it went from approximately $100 to $160 that would be every 6 weeks if I were to be needing all four supplement drinks I also add MCT oil that originally cost me about $19 per 32 oz that has now become $35 adding to an expense that can easily eat up the OTC card my concern is this I would like to understand or educate or get educated and how I can get these vitamin supplements push through for my care I had bariatric surgery and that is part of the deficiencies I also have diverticulosis thank you Kaiser for not finding the c diff for more than two and a half years I have had deficiencies on and off since 2006 and due to that I had lost almost six surgeries during a 2-year period with no knowledge of what was going on because they had done such a bad job of caring for me which is why I left Kaiser to come to Providence and hoping for a much different experience it will be a slow process I am sure for all but my health matters most to me and if I cannot get the support or help I would like to know from home ever is out there how to go about it there are so many people doing one thing but no one really knows enough of anything which can be daunting especially for a complicated patient like myself I am looking for whatever help that Providence can provide to ensure that I do not have to get sick or be so down and out why I am trying to figure out how to get things covered through my insurance which from my understanding between Medicaid and Medicare oh should be covered which is necessary I appreciate you taking the time to ask me what is going on I do my best and will always participate in helping supporting and doing my part as long as I'm informed I work hard to keep my health and the best possible way have a 40 hour a week caregiver that helps keep the wheels on the bus and I'm looking forward to transferring from Kaiser to Providence hopefully with less issues no judgment considering we've all been through it covid-19 has been a nightmare for our whole world and I am just one small person in it I will do what I need to do and work with whoever I need to work with and learn as much as physically possible as a dyslexic individual but I need help as well and having to spend hours on the phone calling around to try to explain stuff to people that don't understand can get exhausting anything that you can bring to the table in your understanding in the benefits that I have that can be provided and support that will get listened to at the powers it be or I should say the higher up would be greatly appreciated thank you again for allowing me to have a voice
I am very comfortable talking yo Dr Halpin & know I will respect her medical advice.
I live in Salem, I'm only coming here for weightloss surgery. My normal clinic/Doctors office is in Salem so this is to out of the way to recommend.
The doctor is very knowledgable but I feel she has poor listening skills and is rigid in her thinking. She is also not very welcoming or supportive, and spends 90% of the visit time looking into/working on her computer rather than conversing with me. This is extremely off-putting.
Dr. Jay Jan is an awesome surgeon I am happy I choose him to do my surgery. I have referred several friends and family to him after my surgery
Doctor was amazing, front desk needs help. Most times they don't give you the time of day. This time I got a very stand off ish greeting and checking process, but the person behind me was greeted with smiles, conversations, excitement. Didn't make me feel very welcomed when it's so inconsistent. The front desk person literally said 6 words to me. "Checking in, last name, and all set" nothing else. The next person in got a completely different and positive experience. Makes me wonder why I was treated differently.
Excellent service
She is always ready to listen, she explains things, she is one of the most caring providers I've seen at the weight loss clinic. She is a cheerleader for her patients
Always a pleasure being greeted by Staff
I have had the absolutely best experience and cate provided by this health facility.
Keep up the good service
They were very friendly took time to answer any questions you may have . Excellent service !
I could never have anything bad to say about the weight loss and diabetes clinic cuz every staff from the receptionist all the way to the back are excellent people caring concerned people and I'm happy to have met each and every one of them
Good visit, short and to the point.
Saw 3 providers. All not only looked at my physical wellbeing but my mental also. Came away with many questions answered and feeling better about myself as well as my ongoing problems due to my weight loss program.
My visits are always on time and all my questions and concerns are answered.
Just to be fair, Dr. MEYER HAD AN EMERGENCY SURGERY, WE WERE CUT SHORT. I WILL SEE HIM SOON AGAIN. I REALLY LIKED HIM.
E s s ... I' s s s ...
Really appreciated Dr Reavis taking the time to speak with me and explain everything. I felt heard and important to him. Haven't had a Dr like that in a long time.
Claire was extremely kind and empathetic. She made me feel so comfortable talking to her about my medical needs! I loved how she answered all of my questions, was positive/encouraging, and gave individualized care.
