Legacy Gender Care Services
Everyone deserves medical care that respects and celebrates their identity and unique needs. At Legacy Health, we are committed to providing safe, responsive and comprehensive care to our LGBTQ+ patients, including transgender, gender diverse and intersex individuals through Legacy Gender Care Services.
Without a space where they feel safe and respected, LGBTQ+ people face limits within the health care system or may have to forgo care altogether. The consequences can be devastating: Preventative care thus becomes difficult or impossible, putting LGBTQ+ persons at a much higher risk for serious illness, including HIV/AIDS or other medical complications.
Donations to Legacy Gender Care Services directly support LGBTQ+ persons to access the health care they deserve. This includes working with knowledgeable care providers, receiving gender-affirming care, and getting connections to resources for support following their care.
