Family-centered care is a priority for Birth and Family Midwifery. Kathleen Wirtz, CNM, WHNP-BC, is the mother of 5 children and grandmother to 10. She strives to practice holistically, utilizes supportive care providers, and incorporates varied care modalities to best meet the needs of each individual. Personalized care, easy access to a provider, and quality healthcare through evidence-based medicine are qualities that define Birth and Family Midwifery. Free Meet & Greet appointments are available to determine how our midwife can meet your needs. Currently accepting new patients - prenatal, childbirth, lactation, newborns, GYN, contraception, minor procedures. Kathleen Wirtz is a member of the American Association of Birth Centers, the American College of Nurse Midwives, and the Midwife Association of Washington. She is founder of the Birth and Family Wellness Fair of Cowlitz County which was nominated as a 2016 Community Champion in Health.
