The only downside to my visits with this provider is that she doesn't have much knowledge about my specific ailments and ends up referring me to places that deal with each individual issue. I don't have an issue with that, but it does make me feel like it is a wasted trip, a waste of time when I could have just made appts with those people to begin with. It would be more efficient to see a provider that can provide definitive answers about symptoms themselves. But I do like her very much and she is great at guiding me in the right direction and listening to my concerns.

Dr. John was very caring basically knew my medical history checked out my problems and explained what she felt was going on an ordered blood test for me! This was our first appointment with David Strickland. As our provider He came into the examining room having read my health history . He was aware of my recent surgeries and lab work. I'm looking forward to working with him in the future.

The amount of time for the visit wasn't enough, and I felt my issues weren't adequately addressed. The physician didn't have enough time because she was pressed to see other patients. Legacy itself limits the necessary time that is necessary for their physicians to adequately care for their patients. It's money vs quality of care.

Dr. Hwang is very caring and compassionate. Unfortunately, she is leaving so she can take care of her home and family. However, if she ever decided to start practicing medicine again, I would love to have her as my provider again.

My experience with Dr Strickland and all the staff make me feel well cared for.

I had a great experience at my appointment. The receptionist was awesome and made me feel so good! She took my picture and said, "beautiful "! Then the nurse came to get me and complimented me on my hair! That Dr. Strickland came in the office with his great smile and talked about my bloodwork and said how good my numbers were and answered all my questions I had and didn't make me feel like they were dumb questions! He listened to me and gave me excellent advice! I came out of the office feeling like a million bucks! I wished he was taking new patients because my son in law doesn't have a doctor but when they called he wasn't taking new patients, which I totally understand.

As always, Dr. John is easy to talk with; her care and attitude is gentle and kind.

She yelled about the amount of oxy I was taking, but didn't tell me what I should be taking. In middle of appointment yelled out "I don't have time for this. Went off about my being prescribed Clonidine for nausea. Didn't suggest an alternative. I would not see a Doctor tether than see her again. Went to see her for high blood pressure during home hralth visit. Horrifying experience!

I consider Dr. Ostrom to be one of the best diagnosticians I've encountered in Portland, Or. I'm extremely unhappy with the knowledge she is leaving. I have been assigned several physicians since I have come to the Legacy clinic. Unlikely I will continue with now another change.

2yrs ago one receptionist was so unfriendly, I have tears in my eyes after seeing her, then it was change after talking to the management.Thanks to the management, I understand that somedays peoples have ups and down,but they don't have to be rude and be sure to have eye contact with the patient at all times. Now everyone is so cheerful and friendly. Thank you to the management good job.

I found Dr Tse to be an exceptional health care provider. I am devastated to learn she is leaving. While I wish her the best, I hope it was a personal choice and not because Legacy did not do enough to keep one of its most exceptional doctors. I can't say enough about my good experiences with her care. I wrote her the following when I received this sad sad news of her departure:Dr Tse. I am so grateful for the excellent care that you provided during my time at Legacy. You are a stand out from all the doctors I have had over many years. Your ability to listen was remarkable. I felt we were in sync when it came to decisions on my care. Doctors can learn from your approach. I hope you have the opportunity to teach others how it should be done. In a field that has become so corporatized, you maintained that personal touch. You always knew my history and treated me with such respect. Good: doctor was very good and I wish was staying. Bad: This is my 4th primary care provider at the same clinic based on provider departures. This was my first (and it turns out the final) appointment with the 4th provider. This appointment was 3 months out as the earliest available. I am now needing to identify the 5th. So my recommendation of "not likely" is based solely on the fact that she is leaving. Survey: the wording of some questions in this survey do not provide a way to explain the circumstances that lead to answers that might be considered negative about the provider. I was pleased with every aspect of my interaction with this provider but was saddened to learn that this first visit was also likely my final visit.

After about 15 years of being a patient of this clinic, I was recently dropped for not having scheduled an appointment for over 3 years. Not only was I unaware of this policy, but the only reason I had not been in the office is because A) I have been mostly healthy post-Covid,& B) every time I have tried to schedule an appointment for an illness or medical issue, there has been no availability, necessitating a visit to urgent care or the ER. After my most recent visit to the ER and subsequent positive strep test result, I received a follow up call from Dr. Strickland's office to check on my recovery. Then a little over a week later, last Wednesday, I did make an appointment for an allergic reaction in my eye. I Came into the clinic, had my consultation, and received a prescription. I was told I would receive a follow-up check-in call on Friday. When my eye proceeded to become more inflamed on Friday and I had not gotten a call, I attempted to make an appointment only to discover that I had been dropped from the clinic over a year prior. Not only did I lose my PCP, but once again had to use the expensive ER, as the Urgent Care centers which they advised me to utilize had no availability until Saturday afternoon. This policy has caused me to become quite disgruntled with what had previously been outstanding service. So, no. Not only will I no longer recommend this provider to anyone, I will openly campaign against it. Thank you

I was told my the MA after seeing Dr. Ostrom that she was leaving the clinic. I was told the front desk was supposed to inform her patients but I didn't hear anything from them when scheduling the appt or when I arrived

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. LaPlante. I've had many unfortunate experiences with primary care physicians that are dismissive and don't listen. My experience with Dr. LaPlante has been delightfully opposite of those experiences. Everyone in the office is courteous and friendly and wait times are very short. She and her team have taken the stress out of my routine healthcare and I could not be more grateful.

Dr. John and all staff were and always have been great. My insurance is Regence and even if contract is not renewed I will continue to see Dr. John out of network. Any tests, specialists, imaging etc. That needs to be done I will need to go in network due to costsbut I have been with Dr. John 10+ years and don't want to leave her. This is the best doctor I have ever had! I lived in several cities before settling now in Gresham, and I can't say enough good things about Dr. LaPlante. This was my first visit. It took over a year to get the appointment.

Dr. Ostrom is very fast with her visits, brusque with her interactions. She does not adequately explain things, and seemed in a hurry to leave during the entire visit. This made it difficult to ask questions, as it gave the impression that I was imposing on her time. When she performed a manual assessment on my injured limb, she did not adequately explain what she was doing and caused me pain. I also had to remind her that I wanted to speak about a medication change after I had already spoken about that with her assistant. I will be looking to change providers after this appointment.

Dr. Huyssoon is very knowledgeable about current medications and treatments/therapies and discusses options. She also is familiar with my past medical history.

I have had very bad ringing in my ears since my dose of lorazepam was lowered. I have been taking lorazepam for over 20 years, and since my dose was lowered to half , I have had very bad ringing in my ears. I know writing this is not going to help me in anyway, but I have PTSD, Fear of Dying, and now because of the Pandemic in can not stand to be round a lot of people. I tried to talk to my Doctor,but the Doctor's mind was already made up.I went through years of trying different medications until this medication and this medication has allowed me to live a better life. I could hold down a job. I'm getting a little like not wanting to work. I also have to take care of my Wife of 23 years, she had a heart attack and they put three stints in her heart,also she needs hip replacement,so I have to work and take care of her full-time. Cooking, laundry,and taking her to doctor appointments. I'm just trying to live.

Just wanted to say that Dr Jayaram will be missed. She has been my family's Dr. For over 8 years now and will be hard for us to find another caring doctor to replace her. On that, I am also not happy when I found out that your other doctors are not accepting new patients and that your office has not found a replacement for her. This makes me feel like I need to find a whole new place to go to after being a patient for such a long time. I'm very disappointed. I hope this problem can be resolved. I'm sure we're not the only family to feel this way.

I am going to miss Dr. Jayaram, but if the other doctors are like her I will continue to seek care in this office.

Unfortunately Dr. Jayaram is leaving her practice so it was difficult to get an earlier appointment for f/u of ED visit.

Visits with Dr. Ostrom are always very positive. She's one of the best doctors that we've had. I hope that legacy doesn't lose her because of some of the decisions that legacy is making about current events i.e. Legacy is getting too much negative press and that is legacies doing. One of the things I saw her for this time was my anxiety and the temper tantrum that legacy is throwing over Blue Cross just added to my anxiety about whether I will lose this doctor over insurance costs. You say that health care is the most important thing to you. It's your motto. Please start living up to it!

The provider was rushed. Just prior to entering the exam room I overheard her respond to a support staff that she would hurry. I was on time for the appointment, and the provider entered the room close to on time, and yet she felt the need to hurry, and expressed it to her staff. The appointment felt rushed, and the after-visit summary was not totally correct.

I have always felt comfortable and important when visiting this Clinic over the years. Dr Strickland and his crew should be an example to other offices. I always leave feeling like my medical issues have truly been listened to and actual thought put into treatment options.

I am very pleased with Dr Ostrom and the care at Mt Hood Legacy. If not I would have been looking for another provider and facility. Having to answer a survey very time I see her is totally unnecessary and a waste of my time.

Dr was extremely thoughtful and and interested in how I felt and what my needs were And concerned in how to leave me my problem

I was able to get the appointment scheduled on MyHealth easily at a convenient time.

Dr. John was alert to exactly what I needed. I am grateful I have her for my main care.

Dr LaPlante and her staff are very friendly, listen, well, and courteous. Dr. LaPlante referred me to a specialist when I asked. She listened to my concerns, and I felt like I was heard. I hope to see Dr. LaPlante for many years to come!

She's leaving the clinic so now I have to find another doctor at the clinic again

My doctor and her nurse are wonderful the lady at the front desk to check in was a little rude, when someone is in pain and do all online and phone has that new app that says your checked in don't have to check in sit down then sit down due to pain then get rudely told no you have to check in, gave name that was it, when people are in pain and hurt let them sit and do it from the sit

I am new to Dr. John. The appt. Was to establish her as my primary provider. She listened well and established a clear plan for my needs. All the staff was very kind and courteous.

Dr. John truly cares about her patients

I feel like I passed off at this clinic. I went in to see someone about a swollen knuckle. The Dr looked at it and agreed that it was inflamed and hurting. Sent me to another hand Dr. ($300) The new hand Dr wants to see me for an initial visit ($300) before they can do anything about it in another visit ($300+). This is a joke

Provider did not know referring office required tests and visits before seeing the referred dr. No one at office was able to assist me to get results from referred office after I reflected my shock at painful tests scheduled with out communicating to me at scheduling

Dr. Jayaram is so thorough in determining diagnosis and then plotting a plan of care in partnership with me. I truly appreciate that she values my input and that she thinks through my concerns, considers my insurance coverage, and wants to hear from me as to how the treatment plan is going.My husband and I cherish our PCP.

Best dr I have seen

Of all the medical offices I visit, Dr. Pardo's is the most pleasant of all. I have also seen Katie Ford, PA recently and that was also a pleasant visit. Sometimes the receptionist is a little cool, but every MA I've had has been great.

Aid who took my blood pressure and drew blood was extremely warm and comfortable and helpful.

Like my doctor. Seemed rushed and wasn't even clear my visit ended

Superior knowledge

My doctor was very attentive about my concerns and I was so appreciated about her having me have several exams/ tests ordered that may help . me .

The only problem was that the provider was an hour behind and no one communicated with back office to see what was going on until they were getting ready to go home themselves. I was still thankful I was able to get in an ER visit even with a long wait.

Everything was ontime and without any issues. I really appreciate Abigail Pardo. She is very through both asking and answering questions. She is by FAR BETTER that my last Doctor at Providence. Together we have solved some medication issues that I am very grateful for.

I was treated well in a positive environment

At this point in time, I don't have a regular doctor because the one I was seeing for the past few years has left MHMC and has not been replaced. I would love for Dr. Huysoon to be my regular doctor, but she says she's not accepting new patients. She was very knowledgeable and thorough in examining me. My issue was very concerning to me as it seemed to be to her as well. She ordered tests to rule out certain serious things. She was very professional and kind. It was very short notice and the day after a holiday, but she made time for me. She also listened and helped me with a couple other minor things. Again I felt well taken care of and so wish she would permanently take me on as a patient. I would have no hesitation to recommend her to friends and family.
