I really love that Dr. Hochenedel clearly had reviewed my medical history and records before the appointment. I find this to be the most important thing a provider can do to help them understand the current situation. He has always been very prepared in this regard and I find that to be very unusual in past situations with other providers.

Punctuality! I arrived early, expecting to wait.they calle me in very shortly.

Dr Madarang great, but is really booked out, so if you need her It's a many weeks long wait to get in, although you can see nurses.I went for a yearly wellness exam and then could not do the bloodwork as had not fasted..... I was not told I needed to fast. It would be a better use of time to tell the patient they need to fast or anything else needed. Because I didn't know, I needed to schedule an appointment at another clinic. I live 1 hour away. It would be more time efficient to have everything done there, If It cannot be done tell me when I schedule an appointment to I can schedule the lab work at another location right after my visit.

I have zero complaints about my experiences. My wife, however, lost her doctor when her doctor retired. She was not given a new doctor with the clinic, and has not been able to find a doctor since. Legacy west side simply kicked her to the curb, with a polite wave goodbye and absolutely no contingency plan for her. It's been a year. My wife is who recommended Legacy Westside to me. They have been outstanding, but this, in my opinion, is poor management. My wife needs a doctor more than I do. She needs a female internal medicine doctor. This lowers an otherwise stellar experience with Legacy, and taints my respect for Legacy.

Dr Engle took plenty of time to listen and to explain

Weingarten is very good, as is the staff. However, the paperwork given by office staff makes patients feel as though there are health concerns they can not discuss with the doctor/nurse.....or they'll get charged an additional fee, or forced to schedule an additional appointment. This is unfortunate, and places an obstacle between the patient and the health care provider. It does NOT create a welcoming experience. I understand that this is a top management decision, not one made by the attending doctors, but this kind of "efficiency" is detrimental to patients, and could easily lead to patients not communicating their full health concerns to their doctors. I hope there is enough patient pushback that management will reconsider this decision.

Never a hassle to visit this clinic and the staff. All very professional!

I have been seeing Dr. Engle for 15 years and she has always been very approachable and helpful. She listens to what you have to say and then starts forming a plan. The My Chart system is very effective for getting responses to non-urgent questions and they are very good at responding. Dr. Engle treats me like I am one of her family and could not ask for a better person to rely on for good advice.

Dr. Moore is a careful listener. I like that he presents common sense solutions to my health issues without "docsplaining". He suggests medical interventions that seem logical to me.

There definitely was a problem with my knee. I could hardly walk, a great deal of pain. It was very different than I had been experiencing. This was an appointment to establish a doctor/patient relationship. It was in the same office as my previous physician who left her practice. Records were all available and transition went smoothly. You should add a question about first time meeting with physician to establish future care.

I was attended by a doctor's assistant because very seldom do I get to see the doctor She is always too busy to see me. The assistant is excellent I would have her for.y doctor with all my trust She is very good at her job.

I am very fortunate to have Dr. Engle as my doctor.

I was disappointed that, when I left my original message about my concern, I requested that they respond to my cell phone. The receptionist said she would write that on the message. I was gone for several hours, returned home, and never received a call on my cell phone. I finally thought to check my home phone (landline) hours later and found a message there, asking me to call the triage nurse. When I did, it took another hour and a half to get a response, also left on my landline, when I was busy working; so I never got that message until too late to get anything done during regular office hours. I ended up having to go to the ER (at the covering doctor's direction) for something I had hoped to resolve during the day at a less expensive, less time-consuming facility. There was a breakdown in communication and a delay in getting my rather urgent need met because they neglected to call me on the phone that was with me at all times that day. That was disappointing.

I started to tell the provider of my concerns based on what I read online. He said, "I don't need to know what you read online", which cut off what I really wanted to tell him which was about my concerns of the symptoms I had been having. Otherwise I think he did listen to me carefully. But that interaction made me felt bad and I think held me back a little to tell him about my concerns.

Dr. Engle always has time for me and remembers my medical history. She communicates extremely well.

I have had 2 doctors in the lasts 40 years. One moved away and Dr. Engel has been my primary care doctor since. It is important to be able to create a long term relationship with doctor.

Ms. Pappas is a nurse practioner - so quite helpful for basic concerns. I am quite disappointed in the Clinic management style that is so "efficiency" driven...aka bottom line profit, that my doctor and several other doctors did not find working there sustainable. My doctor did not complain - but as a person familiar with the medical field as it has become more profit driven - I find it all quite disappointing.

This was the first time meeting this provider.

Mistake was made in prescribing medication. Important to listen to patient in understanding what medications are contraindicated and do due diligence in making certain no contraindication as it could have been very negative effect.

The lab services available atcthe clinic is slow and/or under staffed. My wait to have blood drawn was longercthan my consult with the Dr. Totally unacceptable! I questioned the Dr. About questions regarding my cardiologist , pacemaker Nd meducations, the Dr sent an e-mail or text to him but have not been afforded a response about my concerns. Additionally, I do not at thisxtime have a lead cardiologist as Dr Reddy left atcthe endcorc2023 and I have not been contacted to establish a ne relationship. All very disconcerninh!!!

I find that Dr Engle is very easy to talk with. I can tell her anything about what's going on with me and she listens. I like her very much.

My experience with My Chart is that it only allows an email-type message directly to Dr. Moore for a limited number of days after my visit (60?). I want to be able to send a message anytime I think it is necessary - even if not an emergency. I don't care whether it is covered by insurance. Send me a bill, if you need to. Offer a retainer program, if you need to. I don't care if Dr. Moore delegates his answer to someone else. When this comes up, it is usually renewal of a prescription, which takes too long in your system. It could be other things as well. I do not like the limited access to my doctor built into your My Chart interface.

Very professional, knowledgeable and helpful

The physician I saw is my longtime Primary Care Provider. He is very knowledgeable about my health history and current needs. He spent a gracious amount of time and was very thorough during this annual wellness exam. He explained things well and was never in a hurry. He covered alll the necessary questions and his answers to my questions were very helpful and professional. He is a first-rate provider in my humble opinion. The clinic staff was exemplary as well.

Excellent PCP's are few and far between. Dr. Moore is a gem. He is thorough, communicates well, listens and is thoughtful in his approach to managing multiple health conditions. I'm in the best care with his guidance.

The office staff was so friendly and Dr. Weingarden was very thorough. He asked lots of questions and I felt like he really wanted to understand the whole picture of my health even though I'm not his regular patient. He gave me straightforward instructions to move forward with that were organized and easy to follow.

Dr Engle has been my Primary for several years. I find her to be a brilliant diagnostician as well as a fun person to be around. Her revolving pictures of past vacations AND her dogs, are very pleasant to look at while waiting. We have shared many of the same vacation spots but I am no longer able to travel.

It is always a good experience at Legacy. Dr. Madarang is by far the best doctor I've ever had and I can talk to her about anything and she always relates to what I'm talking about. She is VERY good. She even found a small hernia that I've had for years that I didn't know about. No other doctor had noticed, even when I had visited them about feeling pain.

Dr. Madarang listened intently and respectfully to what I had to share.

Dr. Weingarten referred me to the adjacent X-ray office for an X-ray. I waited 25 minutes for the clerk at the X-ray facility, and then was told that the X-ray person had gone home sick for the day TWO HOURS before. Why couldn't someone tell me that right away? There were two other clerks behind the adjacent desks.

You should have not let Dr miller go.

I've been with my doctor for many years, and I could not ask for more Wonderful doctor. She knows me well and is always very sensitive to my individual needs.

I've never had a provider spend that much time with me - going over history, talking about concerns, etc. It was great and she really seemed to listen and provide solutions. It was a fairly long wait for an "annual" visit but I am very happy with how it went and the next steps.

The only bad thing was that when I was asked to go to the lab to have my blood drawn, the lab people hadn't received the order from the Dr. Yet so I was just sitting their for like 20 minutes before I finally said something then the guy behind the desk was a little rude about signing in to the portal which I had tried to do earlier but it didn't work for .e so he finally got up and showed me the right way to do it and their was a lot of patients in the lobby so it was kind of embarrassing.

Dr Weingarten is always a great doctor to see. My husband and I have both seen him when our regular gp was unavailable and we think he does a terrific job. No nonsense, yet compassionate. Thorough and yet not a fussbudget :).

Dr held up in Provider meeting, making her 25-30 minutes late for the appointment. Dr apologized for tardiness, and explained why she was late. She had informed those at the meeting she had a patient waiting. Having to wait this length of time to see the doctor was a new experience.

Unfortunately she's not taking new patients so it doesn't do any good to recommend her

Terrible provider. I left feeling unheard and brushed off. She saw I hadn't had most recent Covid booster and said "we'll get you that today" I told her I'm not getting it and she looked at me with judgment and disgust and said "why" rudely. After being pushy and trying to get info from me she said she won't continue to see me if I don't stay up to date on the Covid boosters. I said okay. It was obvious she was irritated. I left not only feeling like she didn't help me but I left feeling judged and discriminated against just because I didn't want the Covid booster. It's very unfortunate that she won't do her job as a doctor and provide care for all people. I will be writing a review online about her as well as filing a complaint.

Dr. Moore was informed, concise, thorough, professional, friendly - gave me time to explain my symptoms and addressed my concerns directly and completed describing the treatment plan that I am now executing.

Overall it was excellent. The only suggestion is to improve or coach the receptionists in the lab/imaging area. They are difficult to understand (I don't think English is their first language) and one in particular is quite abrasive both on the phone and in person. When I heard her voice and saw her in person during my last visit, I remembered trying to understand her on the phone earlier in the year. She was rude and dismissive to me then and I also observed it while I was waiting to get my blood drawn when she was speaking to others. The receptionists inside the doctor's office were great; friendly, efficient, and easy to understand.

My first visit to this clinic and doctor. Very pleased in all respects. Difficult to get the initial appointment as I am a new patient at this clinic, though a Legacy patient for 35 years plus.

Dr. Weingarten provided excellent evaluation of my issues. He was proactive in reaching out to a specialist and for obtaining referrals for diagnostic imaging. He is thorough, patient, considerate, empathetic and focused. I am very fortunate that he is my PCP.

Dr. Hughes is awesome and so down to earth! She's easy to communicate with and provided excellent care. The Medical Assistant needs to introduce herself by name when caring for clients and step out into the waiting room where clearly visible when calling your name to come back to exam room. I heard my name being called but did not see the MA who was barely in the waiting room and not visible.

Doctor told me she could no longer treat me if I did not agree to the Covid vaccination. Very shocked, I always believed doctors would help their patients regardless of different views.

The provider, aka doctor, is excellent but I do not recommend him because he is part of the Legacy Health system, which has got to be the worst in Oregon. The staff could be replaced by robots and it would improve the customer experience. Getting into recommended services with Legacy (e.g., stress test and skin cancer issue) are each going to take months (like 3+).

Known Dr.moore for over 20 years now....very good for me!

I love Dr. Hughes and the entire staff at Westside Medical Internal Medicine, although I am very sorry Dr. Hughes moved from West Linn. She is everything I want in a primary care provider and I can't say enough positive things about her. I would recommend her most definitely to any one, but it's difficult to et an appointment with her. I don't believe she's taking new patients, such a shame.

I've seen Dr. Engle for years. This experience was like the rest, in that she listens well, is thoughtful and considerate. If I have a concern or doubt about the treatment she recommends, she asks my reasons for objecting, and considers them, explaining her reasons for the treatment proposal in as much detail as needed. She's an empathetic person and I not only would recommend her to others, I have done so.

Had to wait 6 months to get an appointment with the provider as new patients were not being accepted. Prior medical provider left practice so we were left with few options.

The bad part of the visit was the lab that does not belong to Legacy. Very unprofessional, they turned away a woman who was having surgery the next day because she got out of her doctors office and was told she needed a blood test so she stopped at the lab and was told she needs an appointment. There was no one else waiting but me and my husband. The woman then called my husband In to get a blood test and I had put my name in for a blood test 30 minutes prior. The ladies who work the desk were on their way out and told me my name was still up . The person who came in around 4:30 which I assume was the evening shift said she couldn't find my name and the only other person who was there was at the imaging desk and would only say I don't know I only do imaging for any question asked. I'm going to find another lab.

Dr.Moore is always friendly, courteous, and responsive; he listens to me with care and patience; also, he is very resourceful as a doctor which is great. Every thing was smooth and seamless. Thank you.

I came in for remember pain. The medical assistant picked me up and walked very quickly to the scale and the room while I slowly followed. She was not friendly, nor was the doctor I did not feel any compassion from the provider. I told the provider what I had been taking was not working and he told me to keep doing that. That didn't make any sense to me. I don't feel the concern or care that I normally experience with my usual provider at this clinic.

Hard to understand

Visit went well and I was able to see a provider in a timely manner. However, I have only seen my primary care provider for a yearly checkup. So she barely knows who I am and that is true of all the substitutions who see me. I looked at getting an appointment with her and her next available appointment is four months away.

Much misinformation is corculating relating to statins and reducing LDL.

Dr. Explained the findings of my MRI and what it meant. He ordered an MRI of my neck to address the problem found in my neck. And addressed the possible treatments. He was very thorough.

I am very disappointed that Dr. Miller is leaving your practice. She is the most thoughtful and helpful doctor that I have had in my 67 years of life. I am appalled that there are no doctors to take up the new patient load from her leaving. This is poor patient care and medical leadership is really in trouble with this Medicine-for-profit current reality. I am worried about your organization and don't feel much loyalty to it - it has no loyalty to me.

I have known Dr. Moore for years, and we have always gotten along well with each other. He had what appears to be helpful advice when we met yesterday.

There was one problem; I was there for a diabetes checkup , and the office was out of the needed needles to do an A1C checkup. So we didn't have the information needed for the visit. So I was sent to the lab next door for a blood test, and I had to wait an hour for the quick test to be done. At the lab, when you are coming directly from your doctor next door, you are treated as a random walk in with no appointment, so others keep coming ahead of you (for an hour???) . Not until I complained was I taken in, and I saw the same happen for another woman. These needs to be addressed. If sent directly from my doctor, I should have blood drawn in a more timely manner.

The receptionist gave my husband the wrong paperwork. I caught it because she thought I was seeing the same Dr and she said so that's Dr Winegarf and I said no we are both seeing Dr Engel so she called him back and took the paperwork and deleted everything and started over.

Did not meet my expectations of a physical little more than a glorified wellness visit. Expected to be checked for moles/ possible skin cancer. I felt Dr . Was pressed for time to complete the appointmentand just had a check list to cover..

We love her. She always makes us feel comfortable and listens to what we need help with.

I Absolutely Love Dr Madarang!!! I actually have many health issues and she is on top of it all and can't say enough wonderful things about her!! As well as the whole entire staff!!

Excellent service. The only negative was that it took many months to get the appointment (from the time I first asked for a physical, to the first available date I could receive the physical). Every other aspect of my experience was superb.

A great doctor and team!

No problems with Physician visit. Lab work was ordered. Wait time in the laboratory was unreasonably long. They were not very busy But the wait time was unreasonable.

Dr. Moore always spends sufficient time with me to assist with possible treatment for my medical issues. He performed several tests during the course of the visit, and prescribed several lab tests.

First time with Dr Madarang and she listened and explained everything thoroughly. Highly recommend her!

She is leaving this practice so I can't return nor can I recommend sending someone to see her there.

Susanne Hughes is an excellent physician and diagnostician. Her manner of relating to her patients iis easy, sometimes humorous. She instills confidence both in her diagnosis and treatment plan.I feel most fortunate to be her patient. She is a gem.

Dr. M.F.Chowdhury is in my opinion an excellent physician, he has always been easy to talk to and explains everything in terms that are easy to understand. In the years that my wife and I have gone to him, we are very satisfied with his professionalism and accuracy in discussing our problems. Furthermore, his staff are all beyond reproach.

Dr. Moore is a wonderful doctor. He spent adequate time with me, discussed all my health and medication concerns.
