Very respectful and helpful.I felt a genuine concern for myself and my wife's needs.
Dr Peterson is a good listener, detailed oriented, and is able to handle my complex health issues. This is why I waited so long to see her. I am not willing to see another sleep specialist because the other two sleep specialists I saw through the years, did not want to get to the root of my insomnia and low oxygen problems. I would highly recommend Dr. Peterson with the caveat that a person would have to wait a while to get in to see her.
It was easy and good.
Excellent care by all involved,
She really knew how to put me at ease around my questions with sleep apnea, and was honest and clear with me and her staff was wonderful.
Melissa Dolbec was very nice to my wife and me and answered all of our questions in a way that we could understand. She was patient with us and we didn't feel like we were being rushed at all.
Some of my answers may be a little off. I do not really remember everything that happened at the appointment
Aside from how long it took to wait for an appointment, it was a great experience so far.
Demonstrated deep concern for my condition and how to improve it.
Melissa Dolbec is a great health care provider. She's a good listener and explains things very well. Her medical assistant who did my medication review and took my vitals may have just been having a bad day--we all do--but she was very disconnected from the experience and told me to save my questions for Melissa so I wouldn't have to repeat myself. Again, if she was having a bad day, I hope things improve for her.
This was my first visit to see Dr. Petersen. I had to transfer my care from Legacy Mt Hood after my previous Sleep Medicine specialist left the practice. Dr. Petersen spent considerable time going over my medical history and records. She communicated clearly and allowed me to ask questions. I left her office feeling very well cared for.
It took months to get a simple consultation appointment...
All went well-no problems
Dr Peterson was delightful, knowledgeable, and lovely with whom to have a visit.
Friendly. Knowledgeable. Professional.
Excellent provider who listens well and seems to have good diagnostic skills.
I have an ongoing problem with adjustments to CPAP machines and masks, getting oxygenation and apneic events. This is ongoing.
I think providers are afraid to treat older patients. I have several medications decreased because of my age. I want to be an active and busy person, but I can't. It really does feel like the providers except my ER doc are more concerned about themselves than the patient. This has also happened with my PCP.
My experience at the SLEEP DISORDERCLINIC was, as in the past, exceptionally helpful in many ways.
Insurance coverage is an issue.
Good experience
Dr Peterson was very nice, professional , knowledgeable and approachable to my questions regarding the plan of care and services provided.
Appreciate that provider listens to my questions and concerns. Can pick up from where last visit/concerns we expressed and they relate to this visit...followed this specialist from Portland Adventist as wanted to continue care with here
Always treated well. People are courteous and friendly.
It's sad that people have to wait so long to get into a specialist doctor.
