About Me:

Dr. Avnee Nulkar has a special interest in supporting whole-person health. She recognizes that environment, community, personal resources, and many other variables impact a child or adolescent’s ability to be successful and well. Dr. Nulkar is also interested in developmental pediatrics. Prior to medical school, she was a behavior therapist for children with autism. Dr. Nulkar attended the University of California, Berkeley, where she earned a bachelor of science in nutrition sciences and a bachelor of arts in psychology. She completed her medical degree at University College Cork in Cork, Ireland. She completed her pediatrics residency at State University of New York (SUNY) Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York.
