Beth Smith demonstrates superlative compassion, listening skills, and care. If all procers were like her, the world would be a markedly better place. We need more providers with advaned Human-relating skills like Dr. Smith (fewer dominant, robotic, striving, competitive providers).

Dr Smith is one of the best doctors I've seen. She's attentive, knowledgeable, kind, and a good listener. She always treats me with respect. Very lucky to have her as my primary care doctor!

Health care is very expensive for me. Seems like all my providers seemed shocked that I have finicial questions. Nobody seems prepaired to talk about costs for procedures and care. The only answer I get is contact your insurance. Insurance maxes out at $22,000 per year. Why cant I manage procedures needed with in that cost?

Almost no time in waiting room, better than in the past. I wasn't asked to re-answer Qs I've answered many time before. Dr Smith came in very soon after the MA. She spent a decent amt of time addressing my concerns.

I really like my doctor but it is very difficult to get in to see her in a timely manner. I usually have to wait several weeks for an appt., and even then I can only get like a 20 minute appt, which is not enough time to have a truly thorough visit.

As has always been my experience, Dr. Smith knows my history and Is thoughtful in finding alternative remedies to my problems. I feel she is genuinely concerned about my well being.

Dr. Smith is a great caring Doctor. My only complaint is she is so busy I can't get in in a timely manner. For example, I was in ICU for 4days. When discharged I was to make an appointment with my primary Dr. Within a week. It took me a month and a half. When I did finally see her, she answered all my questions, checked areas on me that needed attention. She explained things I didn't understand. She is a great Doctor. I just wish it was easier for me to make an appointment when I really need to see her.

Doctor, MA and clerical staff were excellent, professional and caring. My appointment was directed to treat my current "issue" as well as log in some routine medical tracking information to verify how my health currently is. I'm very pleased with the service I was provided.

My provider is a very caring and smart person. However I sense that perhaps she has too many patients to see and not enough time. She is usually rushed and seemed particularly stressed this time. I never feel I have enough time to talk to her about my health issues. I don't think she really knows enough about me to know what might be going on with my health. I have unresolved issues and I'm not sure what to do. Perhaps I need referrals to other providers?

I initially called to make an appointment for my annual Medicare Wellness exam. I didn't realize until I arrived that I was only registered for a 20 minute meeting with Dr. Smith. I still need to schedule the Medicare Wellness exam and will probably do it in the summer.

Dr Smith was flexible and discussed an issue I raised that was not the primary purpose of this visit. She also developed a plan for my concerns and made a referral for specialized care.

Originally appointment was far off, but always say yes to being available to earlier appointments due to cancellation. Have always gotten a response and an earlier appointment.

Dr. Smith is an excellent doctor for me. I first met her at OHSU and later she moved to Legacy Emmanuel. She is a good communicator and she cares about me and my health concerns. I am 79 years old and have arthritic problems with my joints..

It took 4 days for my regular health care provider to respond to my portal. I called and left messages after the 2 and 3 day but got no call back to an urgent health care need.
