About Me:

Christina W. Lee, MD, FRCS(C), FACS is a dual board-certified surgeon in surgical oncology and general surgery in Canada and the United States. She obtained her medical degree from the College of Human Medicine at Michigan State University and completed general surgery residency at the University of Wisconsin that included two dedicated years of research investigating the role of gut immunology in cancer biology. Dr. Lee completed a fellowship in complex general surgical oncology at the University of British Columbia and had the privileged opportunity of a travelling fellowship to study breast oncoplastic techniques under the mentorship of world-renowned experts in Paris. Dr. Lee is dedicated to supporting her patients along the entire cancer continuum, and explores the dynamic between surgeon, patient and palliative care health systems through qualitative research methods. When she is not taking care of patients, she tries to travel as much as possible.

I was extremely impressed with how well Dr Lee explained everything. She was very thorough and helpful. She was sympathetic to my feelings and asked about my emotional state as well as how I wanted to proceed. She gave all the choices available to me and made it clear it was my choice. I would absolutely recommend her, 100 out of 10.

Dr Lee is an excellent Oncology Surgeon! She has helped make this extremely difficult time in my life less stressful, and easier to cope with. My whole medical team is wonderful, from my PCP, Oncology Surgeon, Oncologist, and Radiation Dr. They are all wonderful!!

Dr. Lee had a very calming demeanor. She understood that we were anxious about the appointment and what our next steps would be. She explained everything to us in a way that was easy to understand and that helped to ease our anxiety about the future processes.

Dr Lee and her staff have always been attentive, courteous, and friendly. Dr Lee makes sure I fully understand all procedures before I under go amy procedures to come, and answers all my questions, and concerns.

My appt was @ 2pm, got there early to fill forms. Lead to room by assistant, got in robe waited 15min, I asked receptionist if they forgot about me? Waited another 15min no one came to see me...waited waited another few minutes, I got dressed and left the room. It would of been nice if someone said Dr Lee was running behind, no one did...very disappointing. Especially waiting to hear about my breast bi-op test. Dr Lee did call left message and apologized..have not rescheduled

I was very impressed with Dr Lee. This was the best first visit I have had with a provider. She was kind and knowledgeable and had reviewed my chart thoroughly prior to my appointment. She explained everything well and took plenty of time to answer questions. I also appreciated her focus on preventative care during the visit that was very specific recommendations. Again the best provider I have seen in a long time. I would highly recommend her. Thank you for the nice visit Dr Lee
