About Me:

Dr. Colby Schrum, DO is a fellowship-trained urogynecologist joining our Legacy Medical Group Advanced Gynecology and Urogynecology team. Dr. Schrum joins Legacy following fellowship training at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center where he specialized in surgical and non-surgical management of disorders of pelvic floor support and urinary function. Dr. Schrum is a firm believer in offering a broad range of treatments, including surgeries, and guiding the individual patient through an informed discussion of goals of care. Dr. Schrum's training has provided advanced skills in both vaginal and conventional laparoscopic surgery and he performs office procedures for urinary incontinence. Dr. Schrum and his family join Portland from the Philadelphia area, by way of northern New England. He is excited to explore the PNW with his wife, 3 young children, and their dog,

Dr. Schrum was excellent. The best doctor I have seen in a long time. He was very thorough in determining the my condition. And any treatments I've had to date. He listened with understanding and empathy- this meant a lot to me. He offered me several solutions and explained the pros and cons of each option. I would highly recommend him.

My wait time was due to receptionist forgetting to tell the nurse after I had checked in with the receptionist. The doctor saw me as soon as his nurse assistant was Informed.

Dr. Schrum is a wonderful physician. I was apprehensive about seeing a male provider, but he was so professional, understanding, kind, and empathetic.
