About Me:

Emoniel Isakharov, M.D., is an Internal Medicine Physician. He received his medical degree from the University of Washington in Seattle, where he also completed his undergraduate education. He completed his residency at the Legacy Emanuel and Good Samaritan Hospitals. Dr. Isakharov enjoys treating patients 18 and older, with focuses on Nutrition, Weight Loss, and Exercise medicine, as well as advanced heart and kidney disease. He completed additional training with a focus in Women's Health including IUD placements. Hobbies include: spending time with family, fitness, travel, and reading philosophy.

I receive satisfactory information from the provider and the medical assistant regarding my stats. Instead of me asking the medical assistant, what my blood pressure was, oxygen level etc. Doctor was thorough and his examination and was very deductive about what was the cause of my condition for my episode. Response to authorization to have procedures done within a few days of my visit was exceptional. I thought I had to wait longer for authorization

My needs were met. I asked if the doctor would accept my 32 year old son, who was previously a patient of Dr. but had never lined up a replacement. I was happy that the doctor accepted him as a patient.

Dr Isakharov was great at listening and allowing me plenty of time to share my concerns. I was the last spot for the day, but the dr was on time and I did not feel rushed. I left with peace of mind on what my symptoms were and how to best care for myself. The Dr was kind, respectful, and informative. I appreciated the time he spent answering my questions.

Dr. Isakhorav is an incredible physician! He is friendly, knowledgeable, and just an overall wonderful person. I'm thankful that my husband and I have him as our primary care provider and I trust him thoroughly. Having him build that trust and rapport gives me a sense of peace and comfort as well confidence in him as my physician.

Seriously, Dr. Isakharov is the best! He always takes time to make sure my health concerns are addressed, he remembers my medical and personal history, and takes good care of me. He has a gently persuasive knack for getting me to follow up on getting tests done that I am somewhat reluctant to do but are for my benefit. He is kind, friendly, and concerned about me.

I have never had a more patien-oriented, comprehensive, attentive, kind, thorough medical experience. Dr Isakharov has reset the bar for future caregivers. He is hard to follow. Specifically he makes eye contact without being emotionally challenging. Speaks directly to me, not the computer. Remembers details in conversation whether medical or just personal. Prompts for additional/missed information without interrogation. Explains jargon, procedures, processes, in a collaborative manner. The best. Hands down. The best doctor I've ever worked with, and I have 14 years in direct patient care in a hospital setting, as a provider.

I mentioned my wife's passing, and I broke down crying. Her passing is still a very sensitive subject after more than five years. The good doctor was very empathetic. Also, I have turned down many referrals. He seems to understand why.He is more concerned about my health than I am. He always encourages me to call if I change my mind. I never call. I just keep my semi-annual appointments with him. I guess I am not an easy-to-manage patient.

This clinic and lab provides outstanding service and Dr. Isakharov is knowledgeable, personable and an excellent communicator - he has been my physician for three years and he is EXCEPTIONAL. I hope with the Legacy/OHSU merger that we will not lose either Dr. Isakharov or the staff and services at this facility.

Dr. I is by far the best physician I've encountered in my 71 years on earth.He's wise beyond his years, he's smart/knowledgeable about his profession, he's concerned, and he follows up! He helps me navigate administrative log jams and his staff respects and seems to like him.
