About Me:

I am originally from South Carolina, where I attended undergrad and medical school at The University of South Carolina. When given the opportunity to move anywhere in the country for residency, My husband and I jumped at the chance to explore the pacific northwest finishing my medical training at Providence Portland Internal Medicine Residency. We fell in love with the region and decided to make it our home. My clinical interests include preventative medicine, patient education and learning how to fit patient health needs into already busy lives. I strive to help people learn to live their lives more fully. I also work in clinical informatics to help make our electronic health record work better for healthcare providers. When I am not working, I enjoy exploring Oregon’s abundant parks and wildlife with my family and pets. I also enjoy Portland’s extensive restaurant scene, gardening, and home improvement.

Dr. Ware is the BEST physician I have ever had. If she is accepting new patients, my husband wants her to be HIS doctor as well. She is proactive, attentive, helpful, compassionate, and SMART! Besides all that, she is FUN!

From all of the providers that I have thought my life Dr Jane Ware is the absolute best! To add to that the Legacy Broadway Clinic is the best Clinic I ever visit! From all Providers, the front desk team to the MAs, Pharmacist and the remaining staff, I never encountered such excellent, professional, dedicated people! Dr. Ware is the best. She is up-to-date on newest medical findings and studies and always proposes the simplest solutions first - PT, exercise - rather than just prescribing a pill. She is good at diagnosing the various aches and pains I come to her with and spends plenty of time with me talking about my concerns and various ways to address them. Been with her for about 10 years and will stay with her as long as she's doing this!

MA's don't say who they are. Didn't tell me that the person taking my information was a trainee. They got my blood pressure wrong and Dr Ware had to take it again.

Dr Ware has been my provider for quite some time. She has always listened to me and for sure been the best provider (pcp) that I have ever had. I truly mean that she has been a part of some of the hardest times in my life. I would find a new clinic or follow her if she were to leave LBC. That's not saying there are no other good pcp at LBC. I would like to thank Dr Ware, her team and the receptionist.

I'm so grateful to Dr Ware for explanations she provides about my health and genuine concerns about how I'm doing. My son died in January and she and her staff were so kind and empathetic towards me. Dr aware also found a medication to replace my hydrocodone works well and does not contain opioids .

She always takes time to answer all my questions, listen to my concerns, and goes above and beyond displaying compassion toward me. Everyone I interacted with (front reception, MA and Dr. Ware) were all so friendly and caring. All go above and beyond. Wait time happened to be a bit longer than usual, but I didn't mind at all because I never feel rushed during my appointments, so I always assume the providers are doing the same for other patients if running late. I'd much rather have high quality care than prompt but rushed visits.

Dr. Ware deserves an 11+ rating and leads a great team in the office. My physical and mental health have significantly improved with her comprehensive care, with some serious problems being addressed in a timely fashion so that now they are something manageable (especially with her help). The two-way communication is open and very honest. I trust her wisdom, judgement and referrals. Thank you Dr. Ware and everyone at Legacy.
