About Me:

I am a northwest native. I grew up in Boise, Idaho where I started college, but my undergraduate education was completed at BYU in Provo, Utah. After a short detour for my medical education at Rosalind Franklin University in Chicago, I moved back to the northwest for my foot and ankle surgical training in Portland, Oregon. I have been at home here ever since. My fascination with human movement began in college, where I studied exercise physiology. Through my education and lifes experiences, I have developed a reverence for the human body and the amazing ways it moves, functions, adapts to its surroundings, and heals itself after injury. My areas of interest include treatment of ankle arthritis and reconstructive surgery for treatment of any disorder of a misaligned foot or ankle. I am extensively trained in surgical repair of traumatic injuries to the foot and ankle, as well as chronic degenerative injuries to the cartilage of the ankle joint.
