About Me:

Board-Certified in Adult and Geriatric Primary Care, she specializes in Internal Medicine. She offers same/next day visits for Salmon Creek Internal Medicine patients. Karla earned an Associate in Science in Nursing from Florida State College at Jacksonville, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of North Florida, and her AGNP Master of Nursing from Boise State University. Karla has other clinical experience in nursing at Ascension St. Vincent’s Southside Hospital in medical, surgical, cardiac and intensive care. She joined Legacy Salmon Creek in 2014 and has nursing experience in intermediate care, and palliative care. Karla has interests in geriatrics and primary palliative care. She enjoys partnering with patients to build a customized plan of care to enhance their quality of life. Outside of work, Karla enjoys skiing, gardening (especially with native plants), and spending time with her family, kids
