About Me:

Kristina believes in providing up-to-date, evidence-based medicine tailored to meet each patient’s specific-needs. Her philosophy is that healthcare should be a partnership between the patient and the provider, and that each patient should be treated as a whole individual with their own values, goals, and aspirations to reach their highest quality of life. Her goal is to assist the patient to make educated and informed decisions, so that they can take an active and engaged role in their health. She enjoys taking care of minor injuries, as well as chronic conditions, and treating all ages. She is a member of the Honor Society of Nursing-Sigma Theta Tau International and The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Kristina is the proud mother of a son and daughter, and enjoys spending time with her kids, gardening, reading, and playing with her dog.

We moved here 3 yrs ago. Dr Schaffer is the first doctor we saw. We were immediately very comfortable with her and her manner. She is professional and caring. She listens and communicates with us in a thorough but friendly way. We are very happy with her care.

Ms Schaefer is very caring about myself and about my concerns and very respectful of my choices. And very good at educating me about why she recommends certain screenings and preventative measures. I am very happy to have her as my PCP.

This Dr has been very thorough and I've been very impressed with her care. She addresses all of the different issues I'm dealing with and shows empathy. I feel like I have a clear path to better health after a checkup and I'd recommend her to anyone. A+++

Absolutely appreciate Dr. Kristina's care and how she encourages me to be in charge of my wellbeing. She provides demonstration for preventative care that I can do at home and follows up with encouragement to call if I have any concerns. Even though it was nit her responsibility to listen to my concerns about Legacy she was very helpful giving me ways to share my concerns with the right people. She is a great Dr. And I have signed my aging mother up with Kristina and am very sure my mother will get good care and the help she needs.

Everyone here seems annoyed to help. I'm always told "call" this line. There is no above and beyond at this place and I am actively looking for a new provider for my daughter.

Not happy about Legacy and Regence standoff on medical payments. Trying to establish a relationship with a doctor If I have to move to a different doctor for medical coverage I won't be excited about re-shifting back later. How about dividing increases over several years. With patient premiums locked in for the year does legacy really expect the insurance company to absorb 24% in one year. Really!

Having relocated to the Vancouver area two years ago and having to re-establish medical care from primary provider and beyond Dr. Kristina has been a godsend. Her attention to the whole picture and the minute details therein is truly remarkable. I could not have found a better solution to my health care needs.
