About Me:

Dr. Palacios-Helgeson is a board-certified gynecologist fellowship-trained in minimally invasive surgery. Her clinical scope of practice involves all aspects of gynecology, including non-surgical and surgical management of abnormal uterine bleeding, chronic pelvic pain, fibroids, endometriosis, interstitial cystitis and reproductive and sexual health. Dr. Palacios completed her medical degree at University of Colorado, her residency at University of California San Francisco and fellowship at Legacy Health.

This office has a very pleasant atmosphere. The front desk staff greet you with respect and the nursing staff are friendly. All the physicians I've had the pleasure to encounter are by far one of the best. Excellent service! I highly recommend this office to family & friends. 10 Star Rating!Thank you, for providing me with such great care all these years.

Doctor Leslie and nurse were extremely kind and helpful. I felt they spent plenty of time with me and didn't seem rushed to get to another appointment. I was treated like a person who was cared about and valued, even though they had never met me before. They were cheerful and upbeat.

This is one of the best doctors I have ever seen. I felt heard, seen, and understood. I didn't feel rushed at any point and felt she truly wanted to help me. Excellent physician all around. Would strongly recommend to anyone.

I am very happy with my provider and feel.fortuante to have found her. She has helped me immensely. The entire staff int he office is always very helpful. I hope that legacy and BCBS will work their stuff out so I don't have to find a different doctor.

Love Dr Leslie K Palacios-Helgeson, she is so energetic, quick, friendly, knowledgeable. She is the very first Dr I know so energetic like a business woman. The 2 assistants are also very helpful. Love the experience this time. The treatment is so easy this time. Thanks!

Dr P has been a life saver! She has been the only provider that listened to my concerns I've dealt with for years. She made positive life medical changes that has provide relief and an opportunity for health. Thank you Dr P!! Thank you!

I received a very thorough explanation of why I was experiencing certain symptoms that were causing me some concern. This doctor was very on top of going in depth on what her thoughts were of what I may be dealing with In an approachable manner, and assured me that I'd be able to manage It. She was prompt, easy to talk to, and I left feeling very Informed and ready for my next steps.

Dr. Palacios is very caring, knowledgeable, and treats me with respect. Her assistant Fern is absolutely wonderful also. I trust them both completely to have my best interest in mind while caring for my health care needs.

The receptionist (was a fill-in) did not speak loudly enough for me to hear as I am deaf.

This is not the fault of the provider. It is frustrating that only a part of my medical records which are on MyChart through Vancouver Clinic show up on Legacy's online chart-they are supposed to be linked. It would have helped the doctor have a better understanding of my past health problems and treatments.

This was 1st visit with Dr. Palacios. She is one of the absolute best doctors I've seen. She thoroughly explained possible issues, treatment options. She considered all of my medical history while discussing options.

Just felt very listened to and validated. She changed her communication style after learning about my education history and didn't talk down to me. Made me feel very safe and comfortable and like she knew what she was talking about while also listening to my own experiences in my body.

I spend less than 5 minutes in the waiting room prior to see my doctor.Doctor was very attentive and listening to my concern, she explained very well what is the treatment that I need and the steps to follow to get there.I was very happy with her answers.

This doctors emotional intelligence matches her medical intelligence and I cannot overall give her a better rating, she's the best doctor I've seen, in any medical category! Wonderful and unexpected experience!!! She should win awards for her care, truly. So thankful to have found her!
