About Me:

Dr. Palacios-Helgeson is a board-certified gynecologist fellowship-trained in minimally invasive surgery. Her clinical scope of practice involves all aspects of gynecology, including non-surgical and surgical management of abnormal uterine bleeding, chronic pelvic pain, fibroids, endometriosis, interstitial cystitis and reproductive and sexual health. Dr. Palacios completed her medical degree at University of Colorado, her residency at University of California San Francisco and fellowship at Legacy Health.

Dr Palacios is the best doctor I have ever had. She explained my condition to me in a way that I understood, she is positive and confident, which in turn put me at ease. My surgery, in my opinion, was a Hugh success.

The Dr. Was excellent. Friendly, understanding, patient. She explained everything in detail and came up with solutions to solve my concerns. I will use her for all of my further gynecology needs as well as referring my mom and daughter.

Dr. Palacios is a wonderful Doctor, however she is so popular that getting ann urgently needed appointment scheduled with her is VERY difficult. She is my 4th Dr. With Legacy Samaritan, and I'm apparently being fazed out of my ability to see her. My medical insurance does not cross state lines, and two of the first doctors I was seeing have gone to Washington legacies. A third was "released from serving patients shortly after I saw her one time. No explanation, but I did not like her at all. I was told Dr. Palacios is Booked out months in advance. It's definitely frustrating. I Will be using a new doctor and team at a Medical Facility in the Eugene area, because of this. It is clear the specialty area of Urogynocology needs more qualified doctors.

This dr took time to HEAR what I was saying and actually gave me a diagnosis that I understood and a plan of action to help myself. This is the first time in 12 years that I understand what is happening with my body!!! I am extremely grateful to her for taking the extra time with me!

She was nice. But didn't listen very well and theres a few things wrong on my after care visit that proves she wasn't listening.I'm not sure If an age difference but when you're talking about taking a biopsy and just in general. You shouldn't say at least I felt weird and uncomfortable. Especially what I was in there for to be a little more professional. She keeped saying "It's ok buddy no problem buddy"

This office has a very pleasant atmosphere. The front desk staff greet you with respect and the nursing staff are friendly. All the physicians I've had the pleasure to encounter are by far one of the best. Excellent service! I highly recommend this office to family & friends. 10 Star Rating!Thank you, for providing me with such great care all these years.

I'm disappointed only in that this office will no longer be doing annual examinations as of 2025. Dr. Palacios is the best clinician I've ever had.

Doctor Leslie and nurse were extremely kind and helpful. I felt they spent plenty of time with me and didn't seem rushed to get to another appointment. I was treated like a person who was cared about and valued, even though they had never met me before. They were cheerful and upbeat.

This is one of the best doctors I have ever seen. I felt heard, seen, and understood. I didn't feel rushed at any point and felt she truly wanted to help me. Excellent physician all around. Would strongly recommend to anyone.

I am very happy with my provider and feel.fortuante to have found her. She has helped me immensely. The entire staff int he office is always very helpful. I hope that legacy and BCBS will work their stuff out so I don't have to find a different doctor.

Love Dr Leslie K Palacios-Helgeson, she is so energetic, quick, friendly, knowledgeable. She is the very first Dr I know so energetic like a business woman. The 2 assistants are also very helpful. Love the experience this time. The treatment is so easy this time. Thanks!

In the days prior to my visit I had questions and had to call 4 times over 2 days before anyone got back to me. I was already incredibly anxious and stressed out and this lack of communication made it worse.

Dr P has been a life saver! She has been the only provider that listened to my concerns I've dealt with for years. She made positive life medical changes that has provide relief and an opportunity for health. Thank you Dr P!! Thank you!

I received a very thorough explanation of why I was experiencing certain symptoms that were causing me some concern. This doctor was very on top of going in depth on what her thoughts were of what I may be dealing with In an approachable manner, and assured me that I'd be able to manage It. She was prompt, easy to talk to, and I left feeling very Informed and ready for my next steps.
