About Me:

Lisa grew up in Shoreline, Washington where she graduated with her first nursing degree in 1999. She worked as a nurse in oncology for a short time and then began her career in birth work in 2001. She received her midwifery and nurse practitioner degree from Frontier University. She empowers people with knowledge about their bodies and health so they can live their best lives. She is an empathic listener and has a calming presence. She strives to reduce health inequities. When she is not caring for patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband, four kids and her animals. Her favorite activities are going to the beach, reading, hiking, cultivating house plants, trying to train her 2 rescue dogs, domesticating the feral cats she finds in her barn and tending to her small flock of chickens.
