So far so good!

I am being followed for a condition which is stable and unlikely to get clinically significant thankfully, so not a high anxiety situation. But I still appreciate the attention to detail, thorough explanation, and answering of questions.

I was referred to Legacy by the Vancouver Clinic for this vascular consultation. Scheduling referrals through the Clinic is not easy or straightforward - and I have submitted comments to them about that.

Doctor was nice. Wish he had results of my scans prior to visit. Would like to hear from him regarding this.

The only negative was difficulty getting an appointment because they didn't receive two referrals. Concerned about this because I had been asked to make an urgent appointment by a gastroenterologist I had seen. The third time after I called my pcp to advise that I didn't know how to proceed the nurse sent the third referral again and followed up with a phone call and the referral had been received. Not once did the clerk/receptionist reach out to me instead I initiated the communication. I'm attempting to hold emotion out of my feedback but when I was at the office the front office employee was the same person I had spoken with by phone, I recognized her voice. I think she is just a person of a few words and speaks slowly but was efficient during my in person interaction.

Too much of the visit was taken up by assistants. The physician's visit was just cursory

This was a consultation regarding a concerning imaging study. Dr. Foley saw me quickly, was thorough in his discussion of the situation and my options, and was open to whichever pathway I ultimately choose.

Well I truly don't think they heard anything that I said. I told I nurse and the PA that I saw before the Dr a lot of the information so I don't know if absolutely none of that was relayed to them or where the communication fell but it did not exist. If you look at the chart notes , I'm breastfeeding.. Nope my youngest is turning 6 next month and I took those parts out which I also filled that out with the paperwork but it did not make its way into my chart. Only one if my two RX's one for heart one for BP did they note I'm am taking. I explained that I have issues of what seems like tunnel vision then suddenly it's a complete blur and I can't see anything. Asking with pains in my chest like someone punched me and then grabbed my heart and started squeezing so I can't breath. I walk from one side of the house to the other and I'm completely winded. My extremities have been numb and swollen for months. I cut my foot and had no idea be because I could feel it. The biggest for the last month and half it has felt like someone has been sitting on my chest so I can't get a full breath to breath normal and will get shooting pains from my chest then down my arms. It's been a lot so to see no if this was heard at all is somewhat frustrating. My blood pressure was taken and it was 116/72 or something. He took it beyond fast barley even squeezing my arm. I've had a cardiologist, a neurologist, and and orthopedic surgeon struggling to find my heart beat because it a weak heart beat, my blood pressures has been no lower the 160+ to 180/ 110+ fit 8 months. I have a hard time believing it was correct when it's taking regular and was 188/122 earlier that day and in the same area when I got home, no one heard me when I quest how unusual that would be. Just acted as if nothing happened. The door was not good my symptoms were not heard and my fears definitely not dealt with. No happy about this at all.
