I am so thankful for this office and my surgeon, my care was perfect and I was really listened to. I've been with them since I was 14 and have never had a bad experience, I hope it stays that way because I couldn't imagine going anywhere else.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Bird and the whole experience. The art in the exam room me feel safe (pride art, BLM art, community care art) even before the doctor came in. I would recommend Bird to any non-binary/trans person and have spread the word.

Excellent doctor. She addressed all my concerns, validated my feelings and jumped right on trying to figure out what was wrong. She was kind and considerate and made me feel very safe. She was also incredibly thorough about procedures she would perform and made sure I felt comfortable the entire time. I felt greatly cared for!

I'd really like to know what's going on with Blue Cross Blue Shield and legacy. No news has been posted for two weeks. This impacts my upcoming appts with this provider and the care she wants to provide me.

Dr. Bird was fantastic as was the rest of the staff. They made an otherwise uncomfortable situation far more tolerable by being attentive, respectful, and at ease.

Only suggestion is to make it more clear where the new office is when proving appointment time and place . Even the note on the old office door was wrong. I only suggest it because apparently it happens frequently. That's what I was told when I explained why I was late. I'm not mad about it but if someone doesn't say something, sometimes simple stuff like that doesn't get corrected.

The provider and nurse/assistant were great. Nice, efficient, respectful, and direct. They made me feel at ease and like I'll be able to easily put my trust in them for future visits. I had filled in a long intake form and had a referral and that information had not made it into the Legacy system, so I wasn't able to be seen for the appointment I made. I had called the office a couple of weeks before my appointment, and didn't hear back from them about, so figured they had any imaging they needed for my appointment. (I assumed they had what they needed-I had surgery at Legacy a few months ago and everything ran smoothly.) At my appointment, I was told to make another appointment for one month out. The front desk person told me that I couldn't that day and that they would call me. Since I had waited a longer time for my first appointment, I called the next day. I was able to make an appointment on the phone and had all my questions answered thoroughly. I felt very heard and helped.

Felt a bit brushed off by the nurse aids and PA for the provider. I had to call several times due to having complications after surgery, and their first responses were "it's probably normal". I didn't feel they were interested in exploring what could be causing the complications. When I was able to talk to Dr. Bird, she took me seriously and responded well to the complication, and advocated for my needs in the hospital system.

I have trauma around doctors visits and I found this experience to be very healing and helpful for my mental and physical well being.
