About Me:
Patricia D. Vrooman R.N., MSN, CPNP, CPON is a pediatric nurse practitioner with the Children's Cancer and Blood Disorders Program, The Children's Hospital at Legacy Emanuel. Nurse Practitioner Vrooman earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from Stanford University and earned her certificate in nursing at Yale University in New Haven, Conn. She also earned her masters in nursing from Yale University, becoming a pediatric nurse practitioner with a specialization in chronic illness. Board-certified as a pediatric nurse practitioner, she is a member of National Association of Pediatric Nurse Associates and Practitioners (NAPNAP) and the Association of Pediatric Oncology Nurses (APON).
