"I believe that the best way to help kids and their families is to take the time to truly listen. Not every problem is fixable, but if we take the time to listen, establish connections, and learn from each other, we can make positive changes. I see medicine and education as intimately tied together. My role as a provider is not only to have medical knowledge and experience, but also to educate my patients and families while being open to learning from them. I like to provide my patients and families with options for their care, explaining the pros and cons of each, to help guide everyone to a decision that makes the most sense for them. I want my patients to leave feeling educated and empowered.”
