About Me:

Patty (she/her) is from Guatemala. She has a very supportive husband, 3 beautiful children, one amazing granddaughter, and a German Shepherd named Luka. She came from Guatemala 35 years ago and has been a Social Worker working with people from many different cultures and backgrounds. In Guatemala she earned a teacher degree, also studied Psychology focusing on children with disabilities. She is a certified Doula who loves welcoming babies to the world and supporting mothers on how they wish to birth. Patty makes sure to include the partner to such a special experience in their lives. Lately Patty participated in training with different Indigenous midwives in Guatemala. She is bilingual Spanish and bicultural.
