About Me:

Dr. Paul Donnan is a Board-Certified Internist, new to the Portland area. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, and a member of the Medical Association of Georgia. He received his medical degree from Emory University and completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Kaiser Foundation Hospital in San Francisco. With almost thirty years of practice in Internal Medicine, he has vast experience in preventive and therapeutic treatments in the primary care setting. He has always been passionate about his work, thriving on interactions with patients. His style is supportive, but direct, encouraging patients to take the necessary steps to improve and sustain their overall health. Teaching has been an integral part of Dr. Donnan’s career, and he has enjoyed mentoring and training nurse practitioner, physician assistant, and medical students. No bad experiences. Dr Donnan is a great listener and genuinely cares about finding solutions. He's very focused on best outcomes for his patients. He has excellent diagnostic skills and a kind nature. He knows his stuff without being full of himself and is always willing to discuss things. These combined traits are not often found in many doctors and healthcare providers, so I'm grateful to have him as my primary doctor.

My concern is how rigid the time structure is. Although my doctor is caring and knowledgeable, he seems rushed and hurried.

Donnan is always attentive, this time I was especially impressed with the front desk, very friendly and helpful. My nurse was delightful, friendly and did an excellent job with my Covid shot and blood draw. A big Ten for the whole team.

I've had great experiences since going to legacy and having Dr Donnan as my PCP. The front desk is so friendly, I never have to wait long, and the medical assistants and Dr Donnan are great- they make me feel comfortable , safe and heard. I Feel very comfortable going here and would highly recommend it to anyone else

I have been seeing Dr jonan for 4 years and I have never ever had a bad experience with the doctor or his staff they are always kind and courteous and treat me with the utmost respect and are very in tune and very kind to me in any questions that I have the answer promptly I love this office and I will not change doctors unless I absolutely have to move at a state.

I had my blood taken right in the office and my ears flushed!! So I didn't have to make a separate trip to Lab or to Ear specialist.. that makes a difference!!

This was my first appointment with this provider as I am a new patient. I was very impressed with Dr.Donnan's style. He is very straightforward and knowledgable. I had significant concerns about the fallout from a recent hospital stay/blood pressure issue, but I left the appointment feeling very good about my choice of a new PCP.
