About Me:
Sam completed his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Pacific University in 2014. He treats a wide variety of orthopedic conditions but has a particular interest in seeing patients who are experiencing neck pain, back pain and headaches. To help him better serve his patients, he received a certification in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, more commonly known as the McKenzie Method. He has also taken advanced manual therapy courses and became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist in 2013. This unique blend of education and training allows Sam to provide his patients with an eclectic mix of treatment options and utilize treatment approaches that best serve his patients. Sam also has an eclectic work history. Before becoming a Physical Therapist, he owned a martial arts school, was a certified Personal Trainer, worked as a mental health Case Manager, and taught English in China. Outside off work, Sam cherishes spending time with his wife and son, and playing guitar.
