About Me:

Dr. Kumar specializes in interventional and structural cardiology. He finds it extremely gratifying to help individuals during the most critical time in their lives and to guide their recovery. He has a specific interest in structural heart interventions. Minimally invasive procedures and advanced technologies are offering new hope to patients, and he loves getting people back to enjoying life. Dr. Kumar earned a bachelor of medicine and surgery degree from Rani Durgavati University in Jabalpur, India. He completed a resident internship at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College, also in Jabalpur. He went on to complete a residency and chief residency in internal medicine at North Shore Medical Center in Salem, Massachusetts. From there, Dr. Kumar was a chief cardiology fellow and interventional cardiology fellow at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth in Lebanon, New Hampshire. He also completed a structural heart disease fellowship at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center
