Ever wonder what some of our physicians do outside the hospital or clinic? To mark Physicians Week in 2025, we highlight a few stories from our providers outside the hospital or clinic setting – what fuels them “beyond the white coat.”  Below are their stories.

 

Dr. Chris Zarella, MD, FACS

Dr. Christopher Zarella shares his story about his journey into plastic surgery as a career, and his volunteer work with the nonprofit Alliance for Smiles – a group that organizes two-week surgical missions around the world.  Learn more about Dr. Zarella and his volunteer work in this story.
