A senior founding surgeon that was engaged and effective in my routine non-surgical case. Dr. Frankhouse familiarized himself with my medical history, referring to other providers by name and attributing history information to them accurately. Communicated diagnosis and options clearly and left decision making to me. Notes and follow up were very comprehensive. Demeanor was pleasant and engaged. Staff seemed "with it", competent, and empathetic.

All went well and all involved were polite and patient.

I came to Dr. Rotramel after a disappointing experience with another provider, and the difference has been remarkable. Dr. Rotramel truly listens to my concerns and takes the time to understand the nuances of my situation. She collaborates with me to create a personalized plan, making me feel both heard and supported. It's rare to find a provider who is not only attentive to my emotional needs but also incredibly knowledgeable and proactive in managing my health. I'm deeply grateful to be in her care and confident that we're on the right path together.

Excellent Doctor! My first visit and he explained everything and answered all of my questions and I feel confident with Dr Butler.

I had been seeing another surgeon for my colon cancer. Colon cancer is scary stuff. Dr Franhouse was a breath of fresh air and head and shoulder above this other person in all regards. I trust him implicitly.

Dr.Rotramel is professional,yet warm. Her communication and interpersonal skills are far superior to any physician I have ever seen. She explains everything in a respectful, easy to understand way.Seriously, as an octogenarian I have seen many health care providers over my lifetime and I would rate her as the best I have ever encountered.

Excellent Doctor, very good communicator

Dr. Frankhouse is one of the kindest Doctors I've met. He had an excellent bedside manner, and was able to explain the sensitive problem I'm experiencing in a way that made me 100% comfortable. It did take some waiting time to be able to get the appointment. I was grateful that he opened up an extra day to see patients. I don't know what is considered a "typical " amount of time. Dr. F's medical assistant was very helpful as well.

Frequent rescheduling numbs me

PT was hard, but the provider was understanding and helped give me info about other referrals that had gotten lost in the mix.

Doctor Frankhouse was wonderful. I'd strongly prefer to see him in the future for related health issues.

I have always had a good experience with Doctor Rotramel and consider her a caring and compassionate physician. She has treated me for (ten years?) and has always given me excellent care. I have never had a complaint with her or her care.

Dr. Rotramel was superb. In a warm and engaging way, she questioned me thoroughly. She talked to me reassuringly during the exam and was even able to dispel my fears. I left the office feeling that whatever the diagnosis after testing, the condition can be treated, and I have confidence that with Dr. Rotramel I am in the most capable hands. I would prefer her to any other doctor. I appreciated the length of the appointment as well as the thoroughness.

Did not listen to my concerns, My medical conditions. Had his own agenda. Did not want to hear about symptoms, only wanted to hear about constipation.Period.

Good experience overall. Very kind and informed doctors, nurses, assistants, and front desk staff. My only issue was that the doctor took some inaccurate notes in the "after visit" as it appears on MyHealth/MyChart. And, the doctor did not give me instructions on how to take care of the abscess site if it drains itself, which happened since seeing him. I've reached out via MyHealth, and they have not gotten back to me. Outside of that, the team is great.

The provider refused to treat me with anything other than a compounded salve which is not permitted by Medicare and is not available at either of the two compounding pharmacies in the Portland area. She stated that surgery to correct my condition was not possible because I would only damage myself again. She seemed to believe that my condition was the result of my "lifestyle choices." Why don't you ask HER how and why SHE thinks this condition is mostly MY fault?

This office staff and doctor were phenomenal.

It was a great visit. They ordered a CT scan and the reason no one contacted me to discus the results is because the scan hasn't happened yet.

I appreciate the level of care I receive fromDr. Frankhouse. He is extremely busy but he always answers my questions and I feel he truly cares about getting me healthy again and ba k to normal. I am fortunate to have him as my surgeon.

Dr Butler gave me a very clear action list with clear reasons for it. He told me about the best and worst case scenarios. I don't see how he could have done a better job.

My visit with Dr. Rotramel was a very positive experience. She is obviously extremely knowledgeable, but is also able to connect with patients on their level in a very clear and respectful manner. She is engaging and a great listener- she also has a good sense of humor, which definitely helps in this specialty! I would highly recommend her to others.

Was genuinely concerned about my current health issues, expressed concern for my immediate family, and made sure to explain what he was thinking and willingness to help me. He's extremely knowledgeable, and understands my current medical condition. I will definitely refer any family or friends to him, without hesitation. We left the office feeling confident that he will take excellent care of me and I have zero doubts his ability to make me whole again.

Dr. Butler and staff were excellent and I very much appreciate getting to see him on such short notice.

Great care given to me always

I'm used to Dr F being a little behind and having to wait, and it is not a problem and worth it because I feel he is never rushed and takes all the time never to address my concerns. They do need to be a bit more rigorous about labeling test specimens prior to collection. I had to ask to have my specimen labeled and shown to me before I left the exam room. It was not labeled until I requested it to happen.

Dr Rotramel is amazing. The best. Clear, kind, fun! She makes it all so comfortable. Love her!
