Legacy encourages the procurement of goods and services from diverse suppliers. Suppliers defined as diverse typically include, but are not limited to, those certified as minority, women, and veteran owned, LGBT owned and disability owned companies.

Consideration will also be given to larger or non-certified suppliers with commitment to supplier diversity (such as the use of Tier 1 or Tier 2 diverse suppliers) or those with DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) initiatives in their own business operations (such as having a strong diverse workforce planning program). Consideration will also be given to small businesses as defined by the Small Business Administration (SBA) and other local business to support the local economy of the patients we serve.
