The Sept. 15 upgrade to Dragon dictation requires users to install new software. Installing these files is necessary to ensure that Epic can properly detect you have either a headset microphone or handheld PowerMic plugged in. 

Installation instructions:

1. From the Microsoft Start menu, search for and open Software Center
2. Under Applications, select DMO 2021.1.1 
3. Click Install to begin the installation process
NOTE: If Epic (or Citrix) are still open, you will receive a 10-min. countdown prompt
4. Once the installation has occurred, you will receive a 1-minute countdown prompt for the workstation reboot
