Delivering value and improving health
Register now for LHP’s clinical collaboration event, “Significant Surgical Savings”
The Clinical Collaboration events are an opportunity for providers to come together to meet with other LHP Network members about clinical topics of mutual interest in a spirit of collaboration.
On May 17, Legacy Health Partners (LHP) will be hosting a Clinical Collaboration Series educational event, Surgical Supply Costs – Do You Know What You’re Spending?
For any clinician seeking cost-effective ways to provide patient care, this topic demonstrates how spending awareness can lead to significant cost savings and can be applied across many specialties.
Like other health systems across the nation, during this time of financial struggle we are seeking creative, simple, impactful ways to save money. Data shows that our hospitals could save considerable dollars by using lower-cost, common surgical supplies. Significant cost differences among Legacy hospitals and between surgeons suggest that consistency across the system and using lower-cost alternatives could have a tremendous impact.
During this session, our speaker, Dan Tseng, MD, LHP Board member and surgeon at Northwest Minimally Invasive Surgery, will reveal where small changes could lead to big savings without affecting clinical outcomes.
Please join us in-person on Wednesday, May 17, 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., at Legacy Emanuel’s Lorenzen Conference Center, for networking, dinner and drinks, or attend virtually online. LHP providers from all specialties are invited to attend. Legacy Health is accredited by the Oregon Medical Association to provide continuing medical education for physicians. CME credits and MOC points are available for participating.
