Pain education classes

Learning more about chronic pain and how to take care of your yourself can be very empowering. It helps you understand what’s happening in your body and what you can do about it. This knowledge can help you feel less scared and more capable. If you’re interested, you can ask one of our team members about joining our free pain education classes.

 

Support groups

Living with chronic pain can make you feel like nobody really gets what you go through every day. It's tough dealing with the pain and all the stress that comes with it. But at a pain support group, you'll be with folks who get it. You can swap tips, listen and encourage each other. Just knowing someone else understands can be a huge help.

Meditation groups

Scientists studying pain have found that calming the brain, nerves, and body is an important part of healing from pain. You can learn how to do this with special relaxation exercises that focus on the mind and body. It might take some practice, but doing these exercises regularly can help a lot. If you'd like help learning these exercises, feel free to try out our meditation groups. They meet twice a week and offer support and guidance. 

ACT group

When you've tried everything to ease pain but it's still there, what do you do? How can you keep living your life while dealing with pain? Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) can help. It gives you tools to handle things you can't change, so you can focus on what matters most to you. It helps you find joy, purpose, and fulfillment even when pain is around.
