Pregnancy (Maternity care)
Providing care and support to people with substance use disorders
Project Nurture is care for pregnant and recently delivered people who have been using alcohol, street drugs, marijuana, or prescription pain pills.
Our program provides:
- Pregnancy care and delivery with a Certified Nurse Midwife or Maternal Fetal Medicine provider at Legacy Randall Children's Hospital
- Recovery support from our Peer Wellness Specialists
- Addiction treatment provided by our Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor
- Doula support from our specialty doulas
- Recovery, community resource and advocacy support through Project Nurture's licensed clinical social worker
- Parenting support tailored to your particular situation
- When you're ready, information and advice about treatment options
- A safe environment with people who have been or are in circumstances like yours
