Event Overview:
Obesity treatment has entered a new era with the introduction of innovative drug therapies such as the popular GLP-1 and GIP agonists that promise to revolutionize care. Attendees will hear from three Legacy experts about these new treatments, providing insights into their mechanisms, benefits, and integration into patient care plans. They will also review the more established medications to treat obesity, offering a balanced perspective that respects past treatment options with the new ones.

- Choose from a wide range of topics that suit your preferences and learning goals. Learn from subject matter experts who develop clinically relevant topics to enhance your skills, knowledge, and performance.
- No password required. All videos are easy to access. View at any time and place that is convenient for you: from your phone, tablet or computer. Most videos are between 15-30 minutes.

Announcements, deadlines, and reminders
- Practice administrators can complete their responses for membership requirements and practice-level citizenship measures in this year’s attestation form (also linked on your LHP dashboard) any time before September 30. You do not need to login separately to submit your responses and only questions that are relevant to you and your practice will display. If you have questions, please contact your outreach advisor.
- Phishing Alert: Phone calls and fax scams are on the increase. Last week, we shared details with LHP Administrators about someone who called Legacy multiple times and faxed fraudulent requests for signed orders of durable medical equipment (DME) and diagnostic testing.Please be aware of phishing strategies, remember to never provide patient information to a vendor without proper orders, and always give yourself time to review the request to make sure it’s valid.
